He grabbed Chocola and Vanilla. "Help!" they shouted, terrified for their lives as he had a switchblade in one hand. "Darn you!" I shouted. "Put them down!" Kashou was getting his phone to call the police, but the man was faster and threw a knife at his arm. It hit its mark leaving a huge gash in Kashou's arm, causing him to drop his phone, shattering it on the pavement. "Oh, when I get my hands on you... I'LL TEAR YOU APART!" I shouted at the man, pointing my gun at him. "Oh, you don't want to do that... It's a shotgun, the spread would kill me of course, but you would also end up killing them. We wouldn't want that now would we?" he said, taunting me. It only made me angrier but I holstered my shotgun anyway. "Let them go," I said, starting to slowly reach into my trench coat without him noticing. "Oh no, I think I'll keep them a little longer," he said, still taunting me. Once I was able to get to the pockets inside the trench coat I remembered I had a butterfly knife, but I needed to figure out how I would distract him long enough to use it. I found a sturdy baseball and shouted for Chocola and Vanilla to duck. I pitched it straight at his head. I hit him. With Chocola and Vanilla safe off to the side while he was dazed I flipped open my butterfly knife and dashed at him with a speed unmatched by any normal human, and slit his throat... Really deep. I got covered in blood. Lots of it, before the man hit the ground, very dead. Chocola and Vanilla stared, Terrified. They started crying. "You'll be okay now, he certainly won't be bothering you two, or anyone else... Ever again," I told them in a soft reassuring voice as I hugged them gently stroking Vanilla's head. I took off my T-shirt and used the butterfly knife to cut it into bandages and sprayed Kashou's cut with an antibacterial spray to prevent it from infecting while I bandaged the cut. I helped him up and had him lean on my shoulder so he could walk home with me and although I was still covered in blood, I carried Vanilla and had Chocola sit on my shoulders and I positioned her so Kashou could still lean on me. With a hopeful but sad look in her eyes, "Will master be okay?" Chocola asked. "He's going to be fine, the knife luckily didn't hit an artery so in a day or two, maybe more he should be fine." As we neared the shop I saw Shigure, Coconut, Azuki, Maple, and Cinnamon were standing outside the shop, probably wanting to talk to Kashou or something. They noticed me, still dripping with blood and their bored expressions changed to one of absolute horror as they looked on. Azuki, being as tough as she is, or at least tries to be, was the first one to manage to speak. "What happened? And why are you soaked with blood!?" I told her it's a long story and I unlocked the doors letting them in setting down Vanilla so she was leaning up against a wall because she fell asleep while I was carrying her. I set Kashou down on his bed to rest and gently and carefully woke up Vanilla so she and Chocola could go take a shower and get the blood cleaned off of them from when we were walking home. Once they got in the bathroom I took their clothes and stuck them in the washing machine to wash the blood out and brought them towels. I pulled the curtains over the windows and once they were done and dried off I took a shower and after I was done I put Chocola and Vanilla's clothes in the dryer and put mine in the washer. Once Their clothes were done drying I brought them to Chocola and Vanilla and then put mine in the dryer, When they were done I got my jeans on and passed out as soon as I started laying down on the couch and slept hard. Because when I woke up it was morning the next day. I quietly cursed to myself and hoped the security measures I put up worked. Luckily they did. Since the shop was open again today I woke up Chocola and Vanilla and told them to get ready and went down to let Shigure and the rest of the catgirls in to get ready.
