(Raven's perspective) (Nightmare)

Someone walked in the bedroom with a gun, they killed Dad and I was next...

(Nightmare end) (Still Raven's perspective)

I woke up in a cold sweat. I quietly wandered into Royal's room and cuddled up next to him.  He rubbed his eyes sleepily. "Oh, hey Raven," He said, hugging me. He gently stroked my head and I purred softly. "Let me guess, nightmare huh?" He said. My eyes welled up with tears as I nodded. "Man, it must've been scary if you're this terrified," He replied, he continued to stroke my head reassuringly. "If you want to sleep with me tonight you're welcome to," He said. "Thank you," I replied, nuzzling up against him. I kissed Royal and he smiled. "I love you too," He said, gently stroking my head. I fell asleep with him and slept soundly. The next morning Dad made breakfast and I cuddled up with Royal. I gently nuzzled up against his chest. Dad looked over and smiled. He gently rubbed my head and left us to cuddle while he headed downstairs with Mom. "Would you like to go on a date with me later tonight?" Royal asked. "Of course," I replied. A few hours later I got on my crimson dress and waited by the door of the shop for Royal.

(Qrow's perspective)

I overheard their plans and approached Royal when he was by himself. "Hello," Royal said. I handed him some cash. "Take her somewhere nice," I told him with a smile, giving him a light pat on the back. "Thank you," Royal replied. "Also, take this, you never know what could happen," I said, handing him a small handgun. "Okay then, see you in an hour or so," Royal replied.

(Raven's perspective)

Royal came down the stairs wearing his suit and tie. "You look very handsome," I told him. "You look quite nice yourself," He replied. "Thank you," I said. We hopped in his car and drove to a really fancy place. We hopped out of his car and went inside. We got to our table and sat down, a waiter arrived and we ordered some food. We chatted for a while and relaxed, simply enjoying each other's company for the night. A few hours later we were ready to head home. "That was really nice, thank you for taking me out tonight," I said. "No problem," Royal replied, he leaned in for a kiss. I kissed him and we hopped back in his car, heading back home. We headed upstairs and went into his room. I lay down next to Royal and he began gently stroking my head while I cuddled up next to him. Dad walked into the room and grinned. "So, you seduced her, eh? Thought you might. Oh, yeah, the original reason I came in here, I need my gun back please," He said to Royal. My face turned ghost white and Dad noticed. "You okay?" He asked. He saw I was carefully eyeing the gun in his hand. "Oh, this. Don't worry, Royal isn't going to shoot you, he's a reputable guy, he won't try to do something like that because he was actually the one who pasted the guy who did that to you, after all. All I did to him was slam him into the wall a couple times before the cops arrived. Luckily for that guy, I wanted his death to be slow and painful, otherwise, I could have easily put a bullet in his head then and there... Well, I'll leave you two to what you were doing," Dad said, tucking the gun in his trenchcoat somewhere. He shut the door behind himself and Royal continued stroking my head, gently scratching my ears every now and then. I fell asleep in his arms, deciding to sleep in his room again.
