Qrow headed home to meet up with Evelyn, standing beside an old '69 Yenko Camaro in the garage with the hood open, and a ton of different boxes. He pulled into the driveway and stopped, heading over to his toolbox to get what he needed to start working.

"Thanks bro" Evelyn said as he started getting to work on the car, almost entirely gutting the car for the new parts she had, and polishing up any old parts that would stay in the car. Dismantling was always so much faster than building. He tossed the old parts aside and then put his efforts into getting all the other parts in, which was much slower and took a lot more precision, as one would expect.

Since Qrow was kept busy with his favor for Evelyn, she headed inside with Hana to make dinner for the evening, as night drew closer. Hana was inside with a large pot filled partially with vegetables while she cut some more vegetables.

"It's certainly getting late. What kind of tea should I brew for after dinner?" Hana asked as Evelyn made her way over to help her cut vegetables and prepare the other things she'd need to make curry.

"Qrow will probably be pretty exhausted when he comes inside, so how about some chamomile tea, or you two's favorite, some nice hot chai tea with plenty of vanilla?" Evelyn suggested thoughtfully.

"A perfect idea. I'm glad to have you around, Evelyn... ...I don't know what I'd do without you... What I would have done without your help when Qrow was in the hospital..." Hana said, murmuring the last part.

Evelyn giggled. "Still on about that? Hana, it's been a week since he's been out of the hospital, and he's even finally completed his rehab. Don't dwell on it too much. It'll give you gray hairs." Evelyn commented playfully to Hana

"It would give me gray hairs, wouldn't it?" She asks, taking a lock of her hair and twisting it between her index finger and thumb whilst looking at it for a moment, before focusing back on her work. "I wonder what Qrow would think if my hair started going gray." She asked to no-one in particular.

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Everyone gets old eventually, and it's not like Qrow is much younger. Besides, to him, you'll likely always be beautiful." Evelyn replied.

Hana laughed a little and gave Evelyn a brief but sweet hug. "You're one to talk, you're in your thirties and you're still easily to die for." Hana retorted playfully. "But thank you for the vote of confidence."

Evelyn nodded and helped Hana gather everything they had prepared into the pot for the curry, rice steaming slowly in the rice cooker, the food was almost ready. Evelyn fetched Hana the Chai teabags and the other things she'd need to brew the tea, and got everything ready.

As Qrow worked on Evelyn's Camaro Yenko in the garage, he took the time to ponder to himself. Whether or not... After all these years... Should he propose... The two of them certainly weren't getting any younger, and Qrow had an uncomfortably close brush with death during the accident. If he did, what kind of rings should he get? Perhaps a fancy ring with moonstones in it for her, and one with garnets in it for him? That'd be a wonderful idea. With a black moissanite stone in the center to offset Hana's diamond... Or white moissanite. Moissanite is basically just diamond but better... Cheaper, sparklier, and often cut much larger.

He nodded to himself. That was a wonderful idea, and he could have Hana's ring made of platinum, or something along that line. Something fancy and expensive. After the accident, they made a fortune off the settlement, so his budget was figuratively bottomless, and a wedding should be as memorable as possible. After all, it would be one of the most important decisions and events of his entire life, however long or short it may be... That was also something that interested him. As his DNA was quite different from humans, or even other humanoid cats'. He had no idea how long he should expect to live for, he just hoped he could spend as much of it with Hana as he could...

He yawned really loudly, and stretched as far as he could, loosening up his stiff muscles. Everything should be all nicely assembled, now to just see if it started. It could be test driven tomorrow. He closed it up and put the key in the ignition, turning the key.

VVVRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

It roared wonderfully, and not a thing sounded out of place, so he turned it off and stepped out of the car, shutting the door and tucking the key into his pocket, heading out of the side door off the garage to go inside, kicking off his shoes at the door, where he could smell the wonderful scent of Hana's cooking from all the way in the kitchen. His stomach growled, but he simply ignored it, hurrying to a shower before he got machine oil all over just about anything he came into contact with.

Stripping off his clothes, he stepped into a nice hot shower, which helped him unwind even further, yet also raised his blood pressure a bit to keep him awake. He had a few more things he needed to do, so he couldn't pass out just yet. He needed to eat, then get into their comfy bed, it wouldn't do to crash in the middle of the floor, there weren't even any cozy sunbeams to lay in.

He cleaned himself up and Hana kindly came along to offer to brush his hair, as she regularly did, while Evelyn got the curry plated for everyone. She brushed his hair gently and lovingly as always, but he didn't quite expect her to reach up and dig her fingers into the ears upon his head, scratching them firmly but gently, which caused a deep throaty purr to escape from him, which made him blush a little. He was caught off guard, but settled happily into the ear-scratching from Hana, as they were alone together for the moment. She scratched his ears for a good couple of minutes, then they headed to the kitchen to eat a nice meal and sip their tea, before heading to bed.

Qrow was always more than happy to hold Hana tight, cuddled up cozily with her in bed. The blankets had been pulled close around them, his arms and tail wrapped tightly around her, as if to shield her from the whole world, while she lovingly wrapped her arms around his neck, her face tucked into a gap between his neck and her arm, sleeping as peacefully as the serene waters of a koi pond one might find ever so late at night...
