I gathered up camping supplies like sleeping bags, a few beers (because why not), some canteens, a water filter, and some other supplies. I grabbed a lighter and tucked it in a pocket, alongside a set of hunting and skinning knives I had tucked away. The catgirls arrived, all wearing some sturdy boots jeans, and... Very amusingly, all of them, except Azuki, was wearing one of my shirts that had been adjusted in some way. I chuckled and we all headed out the door and went to the campsite. I set up the two giant tents, then gathered some firewood and dumped it in the large fire pit. The girls made themselves comfortable inside the tent, while Kashou, Royal, Ox, Lemon, and Licorice sat around the fire. Karol and Aki appeared out of some shrubbery and sat down with us. "Where did you two come from?" I asked. "We noticed you all were leaving and decided to follow you," Karol said. "Oh... Okay then, feel free to stay if you like," I said as Coconut came out of the tent and shivered. "Cold?" I asked. She nodded. I handed her my warm wooly trenchcoat and pulled my new black cloak over my shoulders. "Thank you," Coconut said, pulling up a chair between Royal and I. We both put an arm around her and she blushed, then smiled. I stood up and affectionately ruffled Coconut's hair, then grabbed my rifle and loaded it, then hopped up and grabbed onto a tree branch. "I'll be back in a bit, gonna bag us some food before it gets dark," I said, disappearing into the tree branches. I jumped from tree to tree until I found a herd of deer. I nailed one in the head before the rest ran off. I cycled the bolt, ejecting the empty casing, then slung the dead deer over my shoulders and brought it back. Coconut covered her eyes as I butchered the deer. I finished butchering it, then tossed most of the meat into a cooler full of ice water, and cooked the meat I didn't put in the cooler. After everyone ate, it was starting to get dark so we all gathered around the campfire as Royal and I started telling a spooky story about a serial killer that lived in the forest, which was starting to not be so fake after all. "Ki ki ki... Ma ma ma..." echoed through the forest around us. Coconut seemed scared, but Royal and I put an arm around her, which seemed to comfort her. I heard a rustle in the shrubbery behind me. Karol, Raven, and Aki seemed to be enjoying it, while the rest of the girls seemed scared. I scratched my torn ear and continued on with the story. I heard the loud thud, thud, thud, of footsteps behind me and I looked over my shoulder. "Hmm... Could've sworn I heard something..." I said. I continued on with the story when Karol interrupted me. "You... Might want to look behind you..." Karol said. I slid out of the way as a machete was buried into the log where I had been sitting. I turned around to see someone trying to pull the machete from the log, but they seemed to be having difficulty pulling it out. Their grip slipped from the machete and I pulled it from the log effortlessly. I tossed it to Royal, who walked over to the man, still sprawled out on the ground. Royal raised the machete above his head, preparing for a downward swing at the man's skull. "I never liked your movies anyway," Royal said as he swung the machete, almost perfectly splitting the person's skull. Black blood poured from the wound. "That doesn't look good," I said. The person just barely started to stand up when I snapped my fingers, instantly incinerating them all at once. "If that wasn't just coincidence, isn't Jason supposed to be immortal? Which is why, before Qrow incinerated him, he tried to stand up," Karol said, confused. "It doesn't matter how immortal you are, when you no longer exist, ain't no immortality savin' you from that," I said. I pulled out a pocket watch and checked the time. "It's getting really late, we should probably head off to sleep," I said. Everyone else gathered up in the tents when I stopped Milk. I found a big tree overlooking the campsite and gently took Milk's hand as we walked to the base of the tree. She wrapped her arms around my neck as I climbed into the tree and found a nice sturdy pair of branches side by side. I lay down with my head resting against the trunk of the tree and Milk lay down on top of me. I sniffed the contents of my canteen and was glad I did so. "What's wrong?" Milk asked. "It went bad," I replied. Milk sniffed it, then remembered what it was I kept in my canteen. "The stuff doesn't keep long after being removed from a living being," I said. Milk looked into my eyes, then nodded to herself, and looked up at me. "Go ahead, your eyes are glowing very brightly Onii-chan," Milk said, tilting her head so her neck was exposed. I screwed the cap back on my canteen and gently pulled her closer, then wrapped my arms around her as I bit her neck. After about a minute or so, I let go and she slid back to her original position as I gently stroked her head until she fell asleep. I pulled out my lighter and a .50 cal that was in my pocket and had an interesting idea to use the bullet to make a lighter. I slid them back in my pocket and then decided I would do that once we had returned home and I had the necessary tools to attempt something like that, then fell asleep as well.
