I was going for a jog when I smelled gasoline. I turned the corner, and saw someone with a gas can, dumping gasoline and kerosene on a building. I ran over to him, but I was too late... He had a match in his hand, and tossed it. The flammable fluids burst into flames. I punched him in the head, knocking him unconscious. The building itself wasn't on fire yet, so I hopped up and grabbed the ledge of the nearest window. I kicked the window in, and warned the residents currently living in the house. There was a woman and a small child about a few months old. "You need to get out. Like, now. Someone dumped flammable liquids on your house. I'm guessing you can feel the heat from the flames now." I said. "Oh god!" She said, as the room turned brighter. "Come with me." I said, picking up the child. "Okay..." She said. She followed me. I climbed through the window I used to get in, and carefully landed on my feet. The woman followed, and landed on me. "Ack." I grunted as she landed, jamming her knees in my ribs. "Please... get off..." I groaned. "I think you bruised my ribs..." I said as she got off me. She looked at the guy unconscious on the ground. "Who is that?" She asked, pointing to him. "The psycho who set your house on fire." I said. The house made cracking sounds as it collapsed, crushing the man, and slowly roasting him. He woke screaming, the entire lower half of his body burned to a crisp. He wasn't going to survive. He died immediately after. I stood up, dusted myself off, and handed the lady her kid. "Thank you sir." She said. I called a hearse and the police, and they cleaned him up. I walked home, and sat down with Vanilla. Clarence walked in. Royal glared at him. He waved to Raven, and Raven waved back. I grabbed my DP-12 which was hanging off the back of my chair and cocked it. He turned ghost white, and sat down at a table. I glared at him, and growled. I put my shotgun back and casually went over to Raven. "You don't want to talk to him... He has done horrible things... Just ask Coconut, Chocola, or your mom." I said. "Hmm. I think I'll do that." She said. After the shop closed she went to talk with Coconut. They talked for a while, and Raven came back over to me. "That's horrible!" She said. "Now you know why I don't like him." I replied "Yeah... I won't be talking to him." She said. We went upstairs and Raven sat down on the couch and I sat down next to her. Lemon sat down in Raven's lap and Vanilla sat down in my lap. I gently stroked Vanilla's head as I pulled out a book. Vanilla started purring and I smiled. A few hours later Vanilla fell asleep and I gently shifted her from my lap. Despite it being dark outside Vanilla and I pulled on our winter jackets and went for a walk. She gently nuzzled up against me. I hugged her and we chatted while we walked. A few minutes later I felt someone hit me on the head. I turned and took a swing, it was another member of the gang Akio used to be in before he was murdered. I picked him up by the neck, and he came to. "What did you think you were trying to do other than bruise me?" I asked "Our boss is trying to kill you, after you killed four of his best. That made him really angry." He said. "They shouldn't have tried to mug me, as heavily armed as I am." I said. "Where exactly is this boss of yours?" I said, squeezing his neck a bit tighter. "I can't tell you... He'll kill me." He said. "Fine." I said. I dropped him and pinned him to the ground while I wrote down a note. It read "Don't try sending anyone else... Or I'll get more information out of the next goon you send after me." I stuck it in his pocket and sent him on his way with another punch in the face. Vanilla and I headed home. I stretched and Vanilla yawned, and we went to bed.
