Jide sighed as Mrs Rotimi decided to talk something else with Kike,it's obvious she's not ready to share the heart breaking news with her daughter yet

"So where's my sister? How was her first trial?" Kike asked and Jide turn to see her,he could see how genuinely worried Kike is. He wondered how Kike could be so bothered when her sister tried to kill her

"Surprisedly her case was adjourned" Mrs Rotimi said and Kike nodded,she look up and her eyes landed on Jide,Jide took his eyes away immediately

"Where's dad? I want to talk to him" Kike suddenly said and Jide's heart beat increased,he wasn't ready for Kike to find this news out yet

"You can't talk to your dad now" Mrs Rotimi said and Kike gave her a confusing look

"How? I don't understand" Kike said and Mrs Rotimi look away cracking her throat

" When he called us"Mrs Rotimi said pointing at Jide after making sure to give him the evil eyes "we rushed over here and you were in the emergency room with the doctor,your sister came over too. Your dad and I was here when she was arrested,so we demanded to know what happened and find out you have been sleeping with your sister's supposed husband to be"Mrs Rotimi said and Kike quickly bow her head in shame " so your dad got so angry and decided not to be your father anymore"

"What?!" Kike said raising her head. Hot tears clouded her eyes immediately "I don't understand mummy,what do you mean?"

"Your dad have seize to be your father even Moreni too. He is not even helping with her case and I can't persuade him because he promised to stop being my husband too if I say anything"Mrs Rotimi said and started crying " what were you thinking Kike?! What were you thinking sleeping with thesame man your sister is about marrying? There are thousands of men out there and I know you meet a lot of them but why him?! Why him?! Why did you do this?! I can never believe my children will turn out to be like this because of a man,thesame man!"Mrs Rotimi shouted and her cries get louder

" I want to see my dad please!" Kike said crying "I have to beg him,I have to apologise for everything I did. I have to ask for his forgiveness"Kike said and broke down

" I don't think your father wants to see you"Mrs Rotimi said

" I don't care mummy! I'm going to ibadan,I'm going to beg my dad!" Kike said and started crying louder. Her mother have to hug her to ease her pain.

Jide watched the mother and daughter scene and felt so heartbroken,he knew all this were his faults but the stupid thing in him is that even with everything that happened he can't still give up on Kike,he just can't. What he feels towards her is so different,so different from whatever he ever felt with any other woman before. It feels as if without Kike he wouldn't be able to live pass a day.

Moreni was pushed inside the cell and fell on the floor injuring her arm,she sneered checking her arm to be sure she didn't have deep wound. After doing that she sat at the corner of cell, placing her head on her hugged legs,she sniffed and started crying. She's already getting tired of this prison treatment,she wants her old life back. Where she wake up in the morning,go to work and come back home tired. She will give anything to have that life back. She suddenly heard the rustling of keys and look up to see one of the police men opening her cell

"What's this?" She asked

"You have a visitor" the police man said and she wondered who came over to check up on her. The only person that have been checking up on her for the past one month is her mother,her mother have told her that her father have seized being her and Kike's father,she couldn't care less about that,all she care about is gaining her freedom and setting her life right back.
