Clara’s POV
I was a little stressed out the past couple of weeks. Actually ‘little’ is an understatement. I was getting married and that alone was a bit daunting yet exciting.  I was kinda young so that was also a factor. I was just on the phone with the owner of our lovely venue and apparently, he had accidentally overbooked so I couldn’t get married there anymore.  I wanted to get married outside and that place was the perfect spot. I put my phone down and heaved a sigh. I sat there alone for a while and didn’t even notice Rocky walk in. He set his guitar, his phone, and his keys down and walked over to me. Kneeling in front of the couch I was sitting on, he tried to lift my chin. Eventually he succeeded and I faked a smile.
“Clara what’s wrong, Gorgeous?” He asked with worry.

“Nothing bad. I’m just a bit bummed out and I don’t know what to do.” I sighed again.

“Aww. Tell me everything.” He said, kicking off his Converse and hopping onto the couch.  He sat sort of across from me, held my hands, and subconsciously fiddled with my fingers.
I smiled at his willingness to listen and scooted closer to him. “Well, I called the owner of that beautiful part of that one field we were looking at and we can’t get married there anymore cuz he accidentally gave the spot to someone else.”
“Oh. That’s not cool.” He furrowed his eyebrows. “But the good thing is that we can always find some other place. We still have lots of time.”
“True but…”
“But what?” He searched my eyes. “I honestly don’t mind if you wanna pick somewhere crazy. We can get married in Paris for all I care. I just want you to be super happy because seeing you happy makes me smile.”

Honestly, Rocky’s existence was all I needed to smile. He is my best friend and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Paris?” I gasped. “That’d be so cool. Could you imagine?”
“Yeah…” He smiled. I leaned forward and poked one of his dimples.  “Let’s do it.”

“Oh my gosh. You’re way too cute.” I grinned. “But seriously though…we can’t get married in Paris. That’s preposterous and crazy.”

“Babe, I’m rebellious and I’m a bit of a daredevil…not cute and if someone says something can’t be done, my first instinct is to prove ‘em wrong.”

A couple months later, I found myself in Paris at a lovely hotel. All my bridesmaids and I were hanging out and we were gonna have a girls’ night before the epic-ness of tomorrow. We watched movies, talked, and ate lotsa junk food and candy. It was a really fantastic memory and I was ready for many more memories.
“So are you nervous?” Rydel asked me. I took another bite of the delicious brownie I was eating and giggled shyly as I finished chewing.
“I don’t know what to feel.” I eventually replied. “I feel nervous but I’m excited and I want it to happen quickly but I also want this moment to last forever.”
“Awww. I’m just so happy for you.” She grinned.
“Thanks Delly.”
"Oh my gosh! I'm also really excited to see all the balloons be released. It's gonna look so cool." She gushed.
"Oh yeah...I almost forgot about that." I laughed.

We stayed up late; giggling, talking, and inflating hundreds of balloons. It was pretty great. I had a hard time sleeping because I was so excited and thrilled.
“WAKE UP! YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED TODAY CLARA!!!!” Someone squealed.
I sat up and saw my bridesmaids all gathered around me. For a quick second, I forgot I was in Paris and I forgot I was getting married today. I sprung off the bed in excitement and began to get ready with the help of all my dearest friends.

Before I knew it, I was standing with my dad waiting to walk down the aisle.
“Are you crying?” I asked with a smile.
“Pfft. No. These are tears of…umm…excitement. I’m not crying.” He joked.
“Awww.” I hugged him tightly and soon, it was our turn to slowly make our way down the aisle.
I was really scared that I’d trip so I stayed as close as possible to my dad and kept my eyes on Rocky.
I was pretty sure that if Rocky smiled anymore, he’d explode into a firework of happiness. I’d seen him on his happy days but none of them compared to the joy he was experiencing at the moment. When I finally reached him, he took both of my hands and gently squeezed them reassuringly. We exchanged vows and rings and, of course, we kissed. I kept pinching myself because I felt like I was in having a fantastic dream but this was reality and it was breathtaking.

“Well, well, well Mrs. Lynch.” Rocky chuckled as we walked inside to enjoy the reception. “I gotta say you like sorta kinda nice today.”
“Yeah…” I giggled. “It’s just a little outfit I threw together. You don’t too look terrible yourself.”
Rocky laughed and I kept walking but he carefully put an arm around me, causing me to stop and turn to face him.
“Clara, can I tell you something?”
“Of course.”
“I am beyond excited to live life with you and I know I tell you this all the time but gosh, I really love you. I love you a lot.”
I stood on my tiptoes and he leaned down so we could kiss. “I love you too, Rocky. I love you a lot.”
