Ryland Imagine: Northridge Knights

Ryland Lynch; Oh that kid had so many talents. Managing R5 was just one of the things he did best and when R5 wasn't on tour, he'd reunite with his football team back in Cali. Ry's team was called the Northridge Knights and they were the best! You were stoked because this was your first time going to one of Ryland's games. On the way to the stadium you made a confession to Rydel.
"So erm....uh Delly?" You asked reluctantly.
"Yeah?" She replied giving you her full attention.
"Umm....don't tell ANYONE this but umm....I like Ryland."
Rydel squealed and jumped up and down. "OH MY GOSH!!!! You-"
You had to cover Del's mouth to keep her from blurting your secret. She eventually lowered her tone down to a whisper especially since her brothers were within earshot.
"Oh my gosh. You're crushing on Ry?"
"Yeah...." You blushed.
"That's adorable."
"Yeah...." You didn't know how else to respond but it felt good to tell Rydel since she was your dear friend.
Throughout the game, you cheered, blushed, and internally freaked out watching your crush on the field. All of a sudden, the whistle blew loudly and people started rushing over to one player who was on the ground. Nurses and paramedics came rushing out from who knows where and Mark and Stormie even got up. You peered out to get a better look and saw Ryland laying on the ground. "Well that's not good." You muttered to yourself.
A few minutes later, Ryland was sitting out and you decided to talk to him. He was sitting while holding an ice pack to his head.
"Sup? What happened out there?" You asked.
"Yo. Nothin' serious." He smiled up at you. "Wanna sit with me?"
Mentally you sang the Hallelujah Chorus but you calmly replied with a simple "sure".
"You did great out there, though."
"Thanks!"
You watched the rest of the football team carry on and continue playing.
Ryland abruptly turned to you. "By the way, you should be careful when you're telling Rydel secrets. Sometimes, her excitement gets the best of her. I found out you have a crush on me." He beamed proudly.
You actually wanted to die at that moment.
"But before you get all embarrassed, there's a secret she never told you..."
"And that is?" You asked curiously.
"The not-so-secret secret is that I have a crush on you....actually scratch that...I'm kinda sorta in love with you...and I was kinda sorta hoping you'd say yes if I asked you to be my girlfriend."
You blushed.
"Aww. RyRy. I love you too and of course I'd say yes to being your girlfriend."
Without even saying a word, you both held hands and watched the game knowing that you too would be the bestest friends. Forever.
