Becca’s POV
I stepped out of the chilly rain and into the warm and cozy coffee shop. Starbucks seemed to be quite the lovely shelter from the drenching weather. I ordered a nice warm drink and sat down with my phone. I didn't really have a book with me so I decided to just waste time on social media. I recently moved out to the town in LA called Northridge. Moving from England to California was one of the oddest experiences ever but it was worth it. I was a photographer and there was so much to capture here. Also, my studio was in a more central area so business was very wonderful.

I took another sip of my tea and looked up when a tall guy walked past the glass window. I tried not to stare and casually watched as he walked into the store. He ordered his drink and sat down at a table a few feet away from mine. I glued my gaze on my phone and tried not to look up at the dude. I just knew I'd end up awkwardly staring.

The barista called the guy's name and set his drink on the counter. He stood up and walked over to retrieve his drink. His name was very different and I don't think I'd ever heard of it before now. I didn't even remember it anymore. I watched his tall, thin figure move about has he doctored up his drink.

As he returned to his seat, I realized he was on the younger side, maybe like early twenties. From what I could tell with his grey fedora on, he had fluffy blonde hair that perfectly framed his face. I squinted and discovered that his eyes were a lovely shade of greenish-grey with flecks of hazel. His smile was-wait…his smile. Oh my gosh. He's smiling. At me. He's looking at me. I'm looking at him. He is acknowledging my presence. I was staring. I'm still staring. Oh gosh.

I finally snapped out of my daze and returned a smile to the dreamy blonde. I tried to distract myself with my phone but that didn't seem to be doing anything. I decided a refill of tea might help. I didn't finish all of my tea and it was still very hot but I'd do anything just to escape looking at that beautiful boy. Just as I was getting up, I accidentally kicked someone in the shin. I looked up and realized that guy was kneeling down by me.

"I'm so sorry." He said shyly. "I umm…I dropped my hat."

"Oh, it's okay. That was my fault."

"No worries." He smiled kindly. "I really like your accent, by the way.

"Thank you." I chuckled. "I like yours. American accents are really fascinating to me."

He knelt down again to get his hat but I didn't realize that's where he went so I tried to get up and tripped over him. We both crashed to the ground and my tea split over the both of us. I wanted to bury myself my under the flooring in that instant but there was something calming about the guy's laugh that made me smile, relax, and laugh it off.

He helped me up after apologizing several times. I think I burned him with what was left of my scalding beverage and I felt really bad. He didn't even mention it though so maybe he was okay.

"I'm just so clumsy sometimes." He said, looking down at his Converse.

"Aww. It's okay. Me too."

He gave another prize-winning grin and I almost melted. "I can pay for your drink if you want?"

"Don't worry about it. I should probably be the one paying for your shirt."

He looked down and sure enough, his hipster jumper had some tea stains on it.

"Hey, it's artsy. I don't mind." He shrugged with a chuckle. "Well I gotta go meet my siblings. I'll see ya around."

"Bye." I smiled.

"Enjoy your day."

"Me too." I beamed. "I mean, you. You too."

He laughed softly and walked out of the coffee shop. My goodness. If that guy laughed one more time. I was going to have some severe heart failures. He made my heart skip several beats and just thinking about caused a smile to creep up on my face.

Riker's POV

So basically I was my awesome self again. My hat fell off and I tripped several times. Stupid long legs. I literally felt like baby giraffe on ice and I'm sure I looked like one too. In addition to dropping my hat and falling, I accidentally caused a really gorgeous girl to trip over me. She spilled her tea all over my shoulders and it burned so bad. I didn't wanna say anything about that because I had already made things so awkward. I really had no luck when it came to females. I'm pretty sure I'd be the lonely but happy old man who dances around and plays the bass. I could see that happening.

I drove to band rehearsals to meet up with my bandmates…three of which were my siblings. The drummer of the band was our best friend and for all intents and purposes, he was family.

I couldn't stop thinking about that British girl that I met and I was distracted during all of rehearsals. I was kinda supposed to be leading them but that wasn't working out so well.

"What happened to your jumper?" My sister, Rydel asked.

"Umm…I…uh…" Everyone was looking at me and I could feel my cheeks growing red. "Nothing. It's cool."

"You met a girl." She said, jumping to conclusions.

"Nuh-uh." I lied.

"Yeah you did." Rydel smirked. "You always say 'nothing' when you've had an awkward moment with a chick and then your voice goes super high when you try to defend yourself."

"That's so not true." I rolled my eyes.

Rocky, one of my eight billion brothers laughed. "It's very true and you know it, Rikey."

"Eww. Don't call me Rikey."

"Oh please you love it."

"Yeah but not from you." I shuddered. "You're my brother."

"Oh." He made a face. "You kinda have a point."

I was glad that I managed to change the subject and we finished rehearsals shortly after. The next couple of weeks were filled with rehearsals, radio shows, single shows, and signings. I was glad we didn’t have tour because I starting to feel tired and sorta sick.

Gosh, that girl that I sorta met was really messin' with my mind. I thought about her daily. I kinda wished I could talk to her more but unfortunately, I don't think I'd ever see her again. Cali was a pretty big state and though it's a small world, I knew I'd miss that beautiful chick.
