Resa's POV
It was 2021. R5 was a huge a success and well I was married to the handsome brunette guitarist, Rocky. Our two brats...er... kids were spending the weekend with their grandparents (Mark and Stormie) and Rocky and I were enjoying a slightly relaxing weekend. We were sitting on the couch eating and watching a Marvel movie marathon. After dinner, we continued to lounge around like lazybutts and watch the next movie in the Netflix queue; it was the second Thor movie.
Rocky had his laptop and was working on writing up the set list for tour and, like, ten hundred other things.
"Umm...I'm not feeling to good. I'm gonna lay down upstairs..."
"Aww. I'm sorry, Baby. Sleep well." I said blowing him a kiss.
Rocky caught my kiss, grunted some form of "thank you", then headed upstairs slowly.
After a few minutes of Rocky's departure, I decided to check on him.
Upstairs, I found Rocky buried under a pile of blankets. I pulled them back enough to see and hear that he was quietly crying. He must not have heard me come in because Rocky is the type of guy who would fake a smile to just to make sure I'm smiling.
I pushed his hair back and planted a kiss on his forehead before crawling under the covers next to him.
"You okay?"
He shook his head "no" and continued sobbing.
"Aww. I'm sorry. What's the matter?"
He took a deep breath. "I just keep getting panic attacks from being so stressed...and it's really hard to sleep at night-"
He lost it and cried for awhile. Part of me was stunned because he never really cried this hard and part of me wanted to cry with him because I knew exactly how he felt.
After a couple minutes, he sat up. "I'm okay now." He sniffed.
"Are you really?" I said noticing that he was rocking himself back and forth. He looked terrified.
I moved so that I was sitting in front of him.
"Rocky...shh...calm down. Breathe." I grabbed his hands and took a deep breath hoping he would follow suit. He did and he blinked away a few stray tears.
"I know that you're stressed. I would be too if I was in your place but you can't let stress get the best of you. Trust me. We are two of the most sassiest people on Earth we had kids. I don't know what we were thinking but gosh darn it, our kids are made entirely out of sass. I have a panic attack at least once a week but you always help me and make it better.
Don't let it your stress win. You are so talented and you have a huge gifting for music. If you're stressed about touring or something, let it out...in moderation. Don't hold it in. That will only make it worse. Whenever you feel anxious, you can always talk to me. Just try to relax. Everything's gonna be okay, Handsome."
He listened to me intently nodding. I smiled and he smiled back at me. Those dimples were gonna be the death of me.
"Thanks Mousie. I feel a lot better." He hugged me.
"I'm glad. Well imma let you sleep for a bit."
I climbed off the bed but he grabbed my arm gently.
"No. Stay."
"Rocky...." I sighed
"I'm not wearing any pants or a shirt and I know you like it like that."
"Rocky stop." I couldn't help the smirk that was creeping onto my face.
"Just sayin'..."
I quickly hopped back into the bed with him and squealed as a tickle fight under the covers ensued.
Rocky sat up again and I joined him.
"What?" I asked still laughing and our of breath.
"The kids aren't here..."
All it took was one seductive look and nine months later, our family of four became five.
