Hi Faith!!!! Thank you so much for your patience! School + life is the most hectic combination and I barely had time to write😜
I hope you enjoy this, though💛
_______________

Faith's POV
"So you gotta just take a leap of faith...." My husband said as we sat on the couch.
I rolled my eyes. "Ross...."
Ross began laughing. "Get it? Your name is Faith....take a leap of faith."
"Yes, I get it." I giggled.
We had been discussing ours career and our futures. We literally got married three weeks ago so that was kinda sorta epic. Life was crazy at the moment and it was only getting crazier. But a good kind of crazy. The kind of crazy that keeps you from boredom.
"Hey you know what we should do?" Ross asked.
"What should we do?" I asked lifting my head from his chest.
"We should go get some candy. I really want some chocolate Twizzlers."
"Eww chocolate Twizzlers? They make those?"
"Mhmm. They're so good." He beamed. "I dare you to try one."
"Oh gosh."
Because the store was only a few blocks away, Ross and I walked. It was a gorgeous day and it wasn't too hot. There was a breeze and that made the weather more pleasant. We talked and enjoyed each other's company.
As we walked through the parking lot, a guy began reversing out of his spot. Ross protectively yet gently, guided me to his other side so that the vehicle wouldn't hit me. As soon as the guy pulled his truck out of the parking spot, Ross began to walk up to the dude. By now, we had safely crossed and I was standing by the entrance of the store.
I chuckled. "Oh gosh. Ross, you don't have to-"
"No." He replied sternly, before walking up to the man in the truck. "That guy almost hit you."
I felt my checks grow warm and I smiled down at the ground.
"Yo." I heard Ross say to the inattentive driver. "You almost hit my wife with your truck. You also backed out way too quickly. Next time you're reversing, please pay more careful attention."
I didn't hear the guy's reply but he did respond to Ross before driving off. Ross walked back with a look of satisfaction. He took my hand and we walked into the store. I couldn't help but giggle a little bit because of how charming Ross was.
"What's so funny?" Ross asked, amusement dancing in his handsome eyes.
"Nothing." I chuckled.
"Liar." He playfully poked my side.
"What?" I asked, my voice going higher than I intended. "I wasn't even laughing."
"Yeah you were." Ross snickered.
"Nuh-uh."
"You sounded just like this." Ross goofily imitated my laughter, causing me to burst into more hysterical giggle fits.
"Well now you're making me laugh."
"Am I now?"
"Yes." I tried to catch my breath.
"What about if I do this?"
Ross began idiotically dancing up and down the aisle in the store. It was empty for awhile but then a lady walked past. She turned to come down the aisle in the store but then she saw Ross and quickly turned around. That, along with Ross's "dance skills", was making me laugh really hard and I could barely stand up straight.
"Ross. Stop that right now." I squeaked, holding my side. "It hurts to laugh."
"I'm not gonna stop until you say the magic word." Ross replied.
"Please." I replied. "Is 'please' the magic word?"
"Nope."
"Airplanes?" I guessed.
"Umm no." Ross laughed, still doing the random dancing. "And why does everyone always think I'm obsessed with aeroplanes?"
"Because you are, Silly."
"Am not."
"Are too."
"You still haven't guessed the word yet."
"Ross there's over billions and billions of words in the English language..." I rolled my eyes. "And that's just English."
"Well have fun guessing." Ross smiled. "I'll give you a hint. It's a food."
"Oh. Pancakes!" I exclaimed. "'Pancakes' is the magic word'."
"Aww. Darn it." Ross chuckled. "You got me. Speaking of pancakes, let's make pancakes for dinner tonight."
"Sounds good." I smiled, taking the hand he held out for me. We finished getting everything we needed and walked home happily. I sure was blessed to have such an amusing, charming, caring, and quite handsome husband.
