Oh my goodness gracious. This took forever because I was crazy busy but I hope you like it Jade ^.^

Jade’s POV
I was sitting in the Lynches kitchen. The house was only quiet because everyone was out. It was just me and the bae. I had my laptop in front of me and I was working on a wedding project. My fiancé was also was on his laptop. He hunched over so I couldn’t see his face. Whenever he thought I wasn’t looking, he would sit up straight and make a face at me. I caught him twice and the sound of his adorable giggle floated around.
“So what are we gonna do today?” I asked. “Can we practice our dance for the wedding because I still don’t get it?”
He didn’t answer me. I looked up at the blonde across from me. He was extremely spaced out. “Ross. Hello. Earth to Ross. Rossy. Rossy Shor. Ross. Shor. Lynch. Boy. Child. Lil’ Devil. Hottie.”
He looked up when I called him ‘hottie’. “Yes? Can I help you, Ma’am?”
I rolled my eyes. “Did you hear what I asked?”
“Nope. All I heard was ‘little devil’ and ‘hottie’…both of which are extremely accurate.”
“Yes. The devil part is.”
He stuck his tongue out. “Okay. So what were you asking?”
“Oh. Right. Can you help me with the dance?”
“Sure, Jade. Lemme go grab my phone.”
I had music on my laptop and so I pressed play and randomly danced in the living room while waiting for him to return. Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance” was my jam and I was pranced around shamelessly to it. I decided to stop and look for Ross so I ran into the kitchen and smacked right into Ross who had his phone pointed in my direction. We both crashed to the ground laughing.
“Wait. Were you watching me and recording me?” I gasped.“Maybe.”
“Noooooo.”
“What? I’m going to make horror/thriller movie called ‘Dancing Jade’.” He snickered. “Hey. That actually kinda sounds like a horror movie title.”
I rolled my eyes and tried to snatch the phone from him.“Ross. Please.”
“Please what?” He blinked innocently. “I’m just gonna put the video on Instagram. Pfft. No one will even see it.”
“Oh please. My dancing isn’t that bad.” I rethought that. “Is it?”
“No, Baby Girl. Not at all.” Ross lied through his teeth. He also added what he thought was a reassuring smile but it was extremely unconvincing. "You totally do not look like a constipated llama when you dance."I laughed as he took my hands and started dancing. "Okay so you go like this...then four counts this way, and then this and-"
"Wait." I giggled. "Ross. Can you slow down? I don't get it. I'm not an amazing dancer like you."
"Oh Jade, yes you are."
"Well minutes ago you were just saying I looked like a constipated alpaca….” I snickered.
Ross made a sassy face. “Umm it was a llama…”
I burst into laughter and Ross’s contagious giggle soon followed.Eventually we finally focused and I learned how to properly slow-dance. The dance wasn’t anything too over-the-top but it was cute and it had a few lifts and whatnot. We finished running through the dance once and I smiled up at Ross.
“You did an amazing job.” He said quietly. Our faces were inches apart and I was smiling uncontrollably.I’m sure I was blushing quite terribly. You’d think I’d be used to this by now but apparently not. “Thanks, Ross.”
“You’re welcome.”
Out of the blue, one of his obnoxious phone ringtones went off. He giggled timidly and went to go answer his phone.
I sat down on the couch with my phone but listened in to Ross’s conversation.
“Okay. Aww man…Do I have to be there today? Oh. Right now?” He sighed. “Okay. Fine. Later.”
He hung up with whoever was on the other line and walked over to me. “That was Riker. He needs us all at the studio for something quick.”
“Oh okay.” I smiled. “Have fun.”
“You’re not upset or anything?” He asked.
“No. This is your job. I’m not going to hinder you from working. We can finish dancing when you get back.”
“Aww thanks, Princess. You’re gold.” He said as he pulled on his Converse. “You’re the best!”We kissed before he headed out and I smiled fondly as I watched his car disappear down the street.
The following weeks were a bit stressful. Ross would be up late trying to figure out dynamics for new songs and I’d be up late trying to decide which centerpieces would look best at our wedding reception. I had completely forgotten about our dance. One morning, while Ross was out, I had a brilliant idea…
I scribbled on a Post-It note and hopped into my car. This was gonna be good.
