Instead of taking the car, we decided to walk watching as Nellie smiled at the littlest things, we went to the beach where she walked in the water dragging me with her while Colby stood in the stand looking around for the Taylor brothers.
"Can we get ice cream?" She asked looking at Colby
"I guess." He said looking around
Nellie smiled as we walked in the door waiting in line for a bit.
"It's busy Sam, someone might recognize Nellie and us." Colby whispered
"It'll be fine." I whispered back
Once it was our turn Nellie ordered and waited for us, the guy looked at us before asking what we wanted then payed sitting in a booth.
"What are we doing after this?" Nellie asked
"Going back home and packing our bags then leave." Colby mumbled
"What?" Nellie asked
"Wherever you want to go Nellie." I said glaring at Colby
He rolled his eyes before eating his ice cream.
"Can we go back to the beach again?"
I nodded my head "Of course."

Nellie sat in the sand in front of me and Colby, she would play with the sand and would look back to the ocean back and forth.
"We gotta get going soon." Colby whispered
"No we don't, let her relax for a bit she needs freedom once in a while." I whispered
"Unless she wants Brennen to get her."
I rolled my eyes and Colby slapped my shoulder.
"Ow." I said
"Look they're watching us." Colby nods his head in the direction where they were sitting.
I looked and saw both Brennen and Jake sitting in the distance looking towards us once in a while.
"Nellie, it's time to go." Colby said grabbing onto her
"What? Why?" She said turning towards us
"Just come on Nellie." Colby said dragging out her name
She got up wiping the sand off her pants and followed us but rather slowly which pissed off Colby. He grabbed onto her wrist dragging her to match our speed back to the apartment.
"Colby stop, you're hurting me." She whimpered
He ignored her as we walked through the apartment lobby going to the elevators, letting go of her wrist. She whimpered and rubbed her wrist stepping away from him, which made Colby change his mood.
"I'm sorry Nellie." He said trying to go near her
She stepped back shaking her head leaning up on the wall.
The doors opened and Nellie walkes out before us waiting at the door, I unlocked it and she ran right in going straight to my room.
"Nice going." I said making Colby sigh
