Not long Nellie came walking into the kitchen, she sat on the bar stools staring at me.
"What?" I asked
"Since when do you cook?" She asked raising a eyebrow
"Since now, Colby went out and he only knows how to make toast." I said
She hummed, getting off the stool and going to the livingroom and the voices of cartoons filled the room, I let out a deep breath before going back to the pancakes.
Colby better be back soon or else I would have to explain all of this, just then Colby came into apartment with different bags coming into the kitchen putting them the counter, smiling.
"I think she'll like them." He whispered
I nodded and placed the last pancake on the plate before walking to Nellie.
"Here you go." I said smiling
She took the plate looking at us "Why did you do this?"
"Well uh-" I said
"It's your birthday duh." Colby said
Her face fell and shook her head "Please don't make it a big deal, I don't want to celebrate it this year."
"Um it's kinda late now." I said
"Why?" She asked
"Because Colby went out to get you gifts."
She sighed "Thanks guys, I guess."
I smiled a little "Of course Bambi."
