Sam went to bed after he cleaned everything up along with telling the neighbors what all the noise was about and went to check on Nellie, while I slept on the couch just so she could have a good night sleep.
After everything that happen knowing that she is going to be traumatized for a while, I now had the feeling to protect her and felt bad about everything I said to her.
Light footsteps were heard along with sniffling as the figure sat on the floor resting her head on the cushion.
"Can I sleep out here?" She asked
"I guess but why? You'll be sleeping on the floor." I said
"I don't want to sleep alone anymore." She whispered
It made sense.
"Get comfortable." I said giving her blankets
She wrapped herself in the blankets before hearing her soft breathing letting me know she already fell asleep.

The sun hit my face making me open my eyes, I looked at Nellie as she was holding onto one of my fingers.
"Nellie." I whispered
She hummed in response.
"I need to go to the bathroom." I said
"No please stay here." She said
"Go lay with Sam for a bit."
She got up with me going to Sam's room while I went to mine laying in my bed, sighing as I covered myself in the cold blankets. Falling right back to sleep.
