She did it. She won. She actually managed to win the Italian Grand Prix. Holy shit. "Oh my God... We did it... oh my God" she was lost for words as she slowed down her car slowly rolling into the P1 spot. "YES YES YES! You deserve this, Y/n. You deserve it so much" Riccardo cheered along with the rest of the crowd around her.

Turning off her car and getting out felt surreal, and she almost didn't know how to react. It wasn't until she saw her team cheering for her and the crowd going wild that she woke up a bit, and realized what she had just done. "YEEES" she screamed throwing her arms into the air jumping out of her car and running towards her teams falling into their arms.

"How the hell did we just do that?!?!" she shouted as she embraced Peter in a tight hug. "Because the whole team is amazing!!" he shouted back and she continued to celebrate with the team.

Finally it was time to go on the podium, and never in her life had Y/n been more excited for a podium celebration. When her name was being said and she was handed over the trophy, she almost wanted to cry. The only thing that was missing, was Charles who should have been by her side.

After the podium celebrations had died down, Y/n was in her driver's room just cooling down for a few minutes before going to all the post race interviews. Her heart did a little jump, when her phone suddenly ringed.

She looked at it and noticed yet another unknown number. She thought it was a bit suspicious, but maybe it was from the hospital, so she picked it up anyway. "Hi?" she began waiting for probably a doctor to say something.

"I can't believe my girlfriend just won her first F1 race" Frozen. Y/n was completely frozen. She just starred at the wall with wide eyes not believing the voice she just heard on the phone. This couldn't be true... could it?

"Cha- Charles?" she managed to say still starring at the wall with wide eyes though. "Yeah love, it's me" he chuckled and now she couldn't control her anymore. The tears streamed down her face, and she broken down landing on the floor and just sobbing.

"Love? Are you crying? Don't cry, love" Charles said in a soft voice, but Y/n couldn't stop. "It's you... it's really you" she said through her happy tears. "It's really me, Y/n. I woke up around an hour ago, and I watched the last of the race. You won! I'm so proud of you"

Charles continued to comfort Y/n through the phone, and though she was still crying, she was back to breathing somewhat normal again. "You were amazing today, love. I've never seen you drive like this before" he said.

"I just can't believe, you're finally awake. I've never been more scared on my entire life" she said still with a shaky voice. "I'm so sorry for putting you through this, love. I never meant to hurt you" he said with sadness.

"I know, babe. Just please don't leave me like that ever again." she said. "I promise, I'm not going anywhere. I love you so much, and I'll see you soon" he said happily. "I love you too" she said and they eventually hung up as Charles had to rest and not speak on the phone.

Y/n sat back wiping the tears off of her face, when Tabatha entered her room. "Y/n where the hell have you been and- are you crying?" apparently Y/n had missed a few interviews, and Tabatha had been looking for her, but when she noticed that Y/n was crying, she immediately softened up.

"I just spoke to Charles... he's awake, Tabatha" Y/n said standing up and with a huge smile on her face. "Oh my God... Y/n that's amazing!" Tabatha smiled pulling her into a hug. Now the interviews would be a lot less terrible.

--

Y/n had of course immediately told Lando, Alex, George and Pierre and they were now all on the earliest flight to Monaco on a Monday morning. Y/n's heart was blooming when she saw the happy looks on her best friends faces seeing as their best mate was finally awake and alive. Pierre was reacting the most. Probably because he was the closest to Charles besides Y/n.

All of them was so excited to see him again, and Y/n could barely sit still. And on top of that she had just won her first F1 grand prix. That hadn't really set in just yet, as she was more focused on Charles right now. Everything went so quickly when they booked the flight to Monaco, and she barely got the change to talk to her team about everything.

--

"We're here" Lando whispered waking Y/n up, as the taxi, they had gotten was now holding in front of the hospital, where Charles were laying. Y/n smiled along with the guys as they walked into the hospital.

"We're here to see Charles Leclerc" Y/n said at the front desk to the young lady in a hospital uniform. She could hardly control herself anymore, and when she finally got his room number, they all quickly made their way towards it. Y/n looked at her friends and smiled.

They were now standing in front of room number 115, and all of their hearts was beating extra fast. Y/n took a deep breath before finally opening the door. When she walked in, she scanned the room and when her eyes finally met his, she could no longer contain her happiness.

"Charles!" she exclaimed and ran over to his bed, where he had opened his arms ready to hug her. He had a huge grin on his face, and the comfort they both fell, when they finally wrapped their arms around each other was indescribable. "God I've missed you" she sniffed as she buried her head into his shoulder. He was gently stroking her hair and back before whispering to her: "I've missed you too, love... so much"

When they eventually pulled apart, Charles also noticed his four mates all with happy tears in their eyes. "Sorry for crashing, guys" Charles said with a little smile. "We're just happy you're awake" Pierre sniffed and all of them gave him a hug as well. The room now became filled with happy tears and chatting, and it felt so surreal to see him finally awake.

It wasn't until maybe 30 minutes later, after a lot of chatting that Charles turned around and grabbed Y/n's hand, "So, how does it feel to win an F1 Grand Prix?" he smiled and all eyes were now on her. "I don't think I have quite processed that just yet, but it felt amazing" she grinned and they all continued to chat.
