"Hey, is there anything Buck and I can bring tomorrow night?" Eddie asks Chimney as he climbs the stairs.
"No, I don't think so, but I'll text Maddie to check," Chimney says as he takes his phone out.
"Oh? And what's going on tomorrow?" Hen questions, feeling a bit left out.
"Margaret and Phillip are in town, so we're doing a Buckley family dinner party," Eddie says.
"Because those always work out so well," Chimney adds.
"Yeah, okay. I take back the jealousy in my voice," Hen says just as the tones go off. The three of them run down to the trucks while Bobby leaves his office and Buck comes out of the locker room with Ravi following.

"Breathe," Eddie says as he looks over to the passenger seat of his truck at Buck.
"Easy for you to say," Buck says as he stares through the window at the house.
"Babe, you say the word and we'll leave," Eddie says, "but you have to try."
Buck sighs but unclips his seatbelt. Eddie does the same and opens his door before climbing out. The driver side door shuts before he walks around the front of the truck. He opens the passenger side door and holds out his hand.
"Always the gentleman," Buck says as he accepts Eddie's help out of the truck.
Hand in hand, Eddie and Buck walk up to the house. Eddie waits for Buck to knock, as that will signal when he is ready. Buck knocks hesitantly, immediately hearing footsteps nearing the door.
"Hey, guys," Chimney says, "come on in."
"Oh, Evan," Margaret says.
"Hey, mom," Buck says, "you remember Eddie, my boyfriend, right?"
"Yes," Margaret says, her smile tightening, "Eddie."
"It's good to see you, ma'am," Eddie says with a soft, forced, smile.
"Evan, we were just telling mom and dad about Jee's art skills," Maddie says.
"Right, yeah, she's gotten into some abstract work," Buck says, feeding into his inside joke with the others with a chuckle.
"I remember, when Maddie was little, she loved to draw, sing, dance, anything artistic," Philip says, "you sure loved ballet."
"You did ballet?" Buck questions, "I thought I was the only one who danced."
"You never took dance lessons," Margaret argues.
"No, I didn't take official lessons, but I did go to the local studio a lot and cleaned the floors in exchange of learning some hip-hop moves."
"Hip hop? Damn," Eddie mutters.
"Yeah, you and I have every event covered," Buck responds with a smile.
"I don't remember you working at a dance studio," Philip argues.
"You also don't remember when I earned a place on the honor roll in high school," Buck responds.
"Don't speak to your father like that," Margaret is quick to say.
"Let's eat," Maddie says, desperate to end the conversation.

"So, Maddie, guess who reached out to me," Margaret says, "Mrs. Montry."
"Really? I haven't heard her name in forever," Maddie says.
"Yeah, apparently Andrew is now a hotshot doctor. An oncologist," Margaret says.
"Why don't I recognize these names?" Buck questions.
"They were close family friends of ours," Philip says, "Andrew was best friends with-."
"Daniel, right?" Buck interrupts.
"Evan," Maddie whispers.
"No, it's fine. I get it, you know. You guys had a whole life before me."
"Evan, don't be dramatic," Margaret says.
"Who is being dramatic? You guys are the ones who don't talk about him unless it is on your terms. I know nothing about him other than I was created to save him-which I didn't end up doing," Buck says.
"Evan, come on. We were having a perfectly fine meal," Maddie says.
"You were, Mads. I was walking on eggshells," Buck says.
"Ev."
"Buck, we should get back and relieve Carla," Eddie interrupts.
"Guys, we haven't even finished eating," Maddie argues.
"I think they have," Chimney argues softly, giving a subtle nod to Eddie and Buck.
Eddie grabs Buck's hand and leads him out of the house. He opens the passenger side truck door, shutting it once Buck climbs in. He slides into the driver side of the vehicle before turning the key and pulling off.
"Was I being immature?"
"No, not at all. You have tried many times to learn about Daniel and hear stories. Every time you do, your parents react as if you asked them for a million dollars," Eddie says softly.
"Thank you for always having my back."
"Since day one."
