Complicated (Reader Avengers Romance)

Welcome back Y/N Barnes

"Well usually we have a longer gap before inviting someone back on the show. I myself, am very excited to welcome back Y/N Barnes!"
The audience starts cheering as Loki gives you a slight nudge onto the stage. Your men look handsome as hell in their suits. Bucky gives Loki a look. "She gets nervous and needs a little nudge to get going." He explains with a smile.

You take your seat next to Jimmy with a smile. "Y/N you have had a rather eventful week. You were last seen storming off stage during your interview with James. Only to be seen on a date with him days later!" He states in an excited tone. You couldn't help but smile at him, his energy was infectious.
"It has been a very eventful week Jimmy. I'm here tonight to put a lot of these rumours to bed once and for all." You smile at him.
"So you and Tom? Is that still the cutest love story of all time?" He asks almost bouncing in his seat.
"It most definitely is Jimmy. You can ask him yourself if you'd like?" You smirk as Loki walks on to the stage. He places a kiss on your cheek as he sits down.

"So as you can see, no I haven't broken his heart." You swell with pride as he links his hand with yours.
"You would never do that to me, the people who truly know you, they know that."
You can see the gears churning in Jimmy's head, it makes you laugh. There was a reason you chose him for this interview, you knew he'd be like a kid at Christmas.
"Ask your question before you burst at the seams Jimmy." You chuckle.

"You two are obviously still very much in love. Which leads me to ask about this apparent date with James."
You look over to the side of the stage, Bucky's anxiety noticeable even from that distance. Jimmy follows your line of sight, he had no clue Bucky and Loki would be with you. "He's here?"
You nodded and Jimmy welcomed him out, you could tell by the look in his eyes he had something planned. He walked straight over to you, placing a soft kiss on your lips. Before sitting down next to Loki.

You looked at Jimmy who currently had his jaw on the floor, looking between all of you. He didn't know what question to ask next or who to ask it to.
"Wow." Is all he managed and you smiled.

"It's public knowledge that me and James didn't part on the best of terms. After all my entire album is about heartbreak." You look over to Bucky who isn't quite sure where to look, you smile at him anyway before turning back to Jimmy. "Some things came to light after that interview last week. Things I'm not willing to talk about in public, it's an unresolved situation. Anyway, we sat down and spoke like adults, it was the first time we'd done that in a long time. After that things just sort of fell into place."

You purposely leave out the details, people didn't need to know everything. Jimmy looked between all three of you and smiled. "I mean, we don't often get relationships like this publicised. Are you at all worried about what people are going to think?"

Loki felt you tense at this question and decided he'd answer for you. "We know it's not conventional, not in the slightest. There are a lot of hurdles we will have to overcome. We just hope people will choose to keep their opinions either polite or silent. Y/N is a beautiful singer and that's what her fans need to focus on right now."

You spend the next few minutes talking about your upcoming album before Jimmy ends the show. As you step off stage you all but collapse into Bucky's arms, the pressure finally getting to you. "It's done doll." He reassures you. "Let's get you home, I'll run you a bath in that oversized pool you have in your bathroom."
You laugh at his description, you had a sunken bathtub installed in your downstairs bathroom. He wasn't wrong, it was large enough to fit at least 3 people. A fact that doesn't escape your attention, almost like deep down this is what you'd always wanted.

Bucky pulled you into his side and slipped an arm around your waist holding you up. All 3 of you head home and you make sure to turn your phone off. You've had enough of the drama for today. Tonight you just want to relax with the 2 amazing men at your side.
