"Will you just spit it out?" Loki growled at Thor as they sat in the common area of the compound.
He knew he'd messed up with Bucky and sitting with Thor was the last thing he needed right now.
"Why not just teleport into her room? Thor asked the question that had been on everyone's mind since you locked yourself away.
Loki ran his hands over his face. "Her magic is the same as mine. She's blocked my powers." He proud of the control and skill something like that takes, but it was infuriating him that it meant he couldn't get to you.
"Then find another way to tell her that you're there for her."
The wall that Loki usually puts up around Thor lowered slightly, allowing him to see the vulnerability in Loki.
"I don't know brother. I'm not exactly helping things right now." He admitted, feeling more guilty of his actions than he had in a long time.Thor clapped him on the shoulder before gripping onto his arms as he had when they were kids and he was trying to get Loki to listen.
"Instead of moping about it, go and fix your marriage.""If she won't talk to Bucky, she won't talk to me." Somewhere in Loki's frustration, he seemed to have forgotten that you loved him just as much as Bucky. He couldn't see past his own insecurities.
"It wasn't our Spitfire that I was referring to brother. Bucky is your husband, go and fix your marriage."
Loki finally pushed Thor off him, not being able to stand the sympathy in his eyes.
"He can't stand to be near me right now."Thor let out a booming laugh. "Since when has that ever stopped you before?" He half teased. Loki was nothing if not stubborn, for once Thor wanted him to put that quality to good use. All three of you had come too far for anything else.
Knowing how his brother could be, Thor left him alone with his thoughts. Heading to find the others, you all still needed to figure out what the next part of the plan was. If Thor knew one thing, he knew that Thanos would bring you back to them. Your need to revenge would pull you out of your grief long enough to defeat him. He was one of the only ones that had that amount of faith in you.
As Loki walked over to the large windows overlooking the grounds outside, his heart sank. You were walking into the middle of the open space, green flames spiralling around you.
"For Nat." You muttered to yourself.
Pulling down the wall you always seemed to have when it came to your powers, you nearly dropped to your knees. Just as you felt like it was going to overpower you, your body reacted.
Loki watched as you floated up into the air, your flames brighter and higher than they ever had before. Without hesitation he began running to you.
"Bucky!" He cried out loud enough for everyone to hear.
The second his name left Loki's lips he knew something was wrong. Forgetting all his anger, Bucky fell into step beside Loki as they ran to you.
"What the hell is she doing?"The magical high you were feeling was the biggest rush, no drug in the world could prepare you for how it felt to finally surrender to it. Where you'd always been afraid it could consume you, this felt like your power merging seamlessly with your body.
You spun in the air before flames gathered at your back, creating the most beautiful wings you had ever seen. You smiled, using them to dip and swirl through the sky. Finally feeling like the woman you were supposed to become all along.
Loki looked up at the sky, his hand intertwined with Bucky's.
"Remember when I told you how powerful she was?""This is what you meant?" Bucky looked up at you in awe.
"Her grief, her anger, it's like a battery only fuelling her power to levels she's never had before."
Loki had heard legends of a being that could control flames. It was said that the creature would either heal the world or destroy it. As he looked up at you now, he knew either options was a possibility. No matter the outcome, he would be by your side, of that he was certain.
Bucky wasn't quite feeling the same pride Loki was, he was still worried about you.
"How do we help her?" He shouted over the sound of your flames. Before Loki could answer, you floated back down to them. Pulling your power back enough that you looked more like yourself again.
"You want to help me Buck? You bring me Thanos."The rest of the team had watched on in fascination, albeit from a much safer distance than Bucky and Loki. Thor was practically as giddy as a child hyped up on sugar. Using his hammer, he flew at you with his full strength. No one expected you to swat him out of the air like he was a fly. He crashed to the ground, ripping up the dirt underneath him as he landed.
No one held back their laughter as Thor jumped up, pretending nothing had happened. It was nice to hear everyone laugh again, they all knew it was likely going to be the last time for a while.
You turned your attention back to Bucky and Loki, all but jumping at them as you wrapped your arms around both of them. They melted against you, as you did against them.
"I'm so sorry." You muttered on repeat over and over until Bucky placed his lips over yours to stop you.
The second he pulled back, Loki took his place. He let his tears run freely as he reached out for Bucky, pulling him into the kiss too. All three of you revelling in the contact with one another.
"Okay. Yep. That's my baby sister, I'm out." Tony shuddered as he walked back into the compound.
You were all completely breathless by the time you finally pulled away. You rested your head against Loki's chest as you looked up at Bucky.
"Well I don't know about you guys but I have some revenge to finish. You two with me?"Always darling." Loki promised.
"Till the end of the line doll."
That was all you needed, the support of the two people you loved most in the world. With their support you could achieve anything.

Tony pulled you to the side of the lab, wanting just a bit of privacy as he checked you over for the millionth time. You were his baby sister, to say he was struggling with the powers you had would be an understatement.
"Tony, I'm fine but if you carry on you won't be." You warned with a raised eyebrow.
"Look, we sent out the signal. He'll be here soon."
You nodded, your head and heart fixed firmly on the fight that was on its way. You couldn't think about the heartbreak, at least not until this was over. Even then you'd come up with an idea, you just hoped it would work out the way you wanted it to.
"He has one stone Tony. We have five. We get the last one and we end this once and for all." Your Stark stubbornness shone through proudly as you gripped his hand in yours.
"Whatever happens, I need you to come out of this alive. I can't lose my baby sister too."
You squeezed his hand in yours, conjuring a fire butterfly in the other.
"If Odin is right, which I suspect his is; then I've been training for this my whole life. Thanos is going to wish he stayed hidden." Your anger clear as day over your face as you extinguished the creature in your hand."I know you're doing this for Nat, but remember that you're not alone." Tony offered his unconditional support.
You nodded with a smile.
"I'll be right by your side as always." He gripped your hand tightly.
Where there had been a strain on your relationship with him in the past, in that moment. The calm before the storm. You were simply a brother and sister looking out for one another.
It was Clint's voice that broke through your moment with Tony.
"Time to shine Y/N."
