Bucky was used to Loki's outbursts at this point, he laid on the bed with his ankles crossed as Loki paced the room.
"So just like that you've forgiven her?"
"Yeah," Bucky shrugged his shoulders. "She's our wife, staying angry gets us nowhere."
He knew you were sorry and that you were willing to do anything to make things right. Something he was quite looking forward to.
Loki ran his hands through his hair again. "And the fact she was gone for a year?" Loki could feel his anger rising, knowing he was going to snap soon.
"She was grieving Lo. Don't forget we ran too."
"SHE LEFT US!" Loki roared, throwing a wine glass across the room.
Bucky watched it smash against the wall, rolling his eyes at Loki's outburst. He knew this was going to be difficult, but babysitting his husband mid tantrum wasn't on his to do list for today.
"Quite finished?" Bucky asked as Loki sat on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands.
"Where is she now?" Loki asked, his voice giving away the anger still simmering beneath the surface.
Bucky crawled across the bed, cupping Loki's cheek to make him look at him. "I'm not going to tell you if you're just going to go and shout at her."
Loki pressed his lips to Bucky's, letting his husbands love quell the anger inside him. They pulled apart, resting their foreheads against one another.
"I'm not going to shout at her."
"She's training with the guards."
Loki kissed him again before using his magic to make himself more presentable. Bucky smiled, shaking his head as he watched Loki. Not once since they'd been back on Asgard had Loki bothered to look the part of a Prince. Seeing him do it now brought a smile to his face that he couldn't hide.
"Gotta look good for our Queen." Loki smirked before transporting himself to the training grounds.
Fighting with a sword was something you weren't used to. Sif was helping you, telling you where to plant your feet. The hours were rolling past, sweat dripping off you as you finally managed to knock her on her ass.
Loki watched the triumphant smile creep across your face. The problem was that you took your eyes off her too long. One sweep of her legs and you were on the floor beside her with a thud.
"Don't take your eyes off your target Princess."
Just as you went to get up, a hand appeared in front of you.
"Loki?" He helped you to your feet not saying a word.Sif gave you both a bow before leaving you alone. Picking up your sword from the floor you placed it back in the wrack. Your heart pounded in your chest hard enough that you were sure the whole of Asgard could hear it.
"Why are you here?" You asked him with your back to him.
"To talk. If you'll let me."
You turned round, pushing down the urge to jump into his arms.
"Not here, inside."
You didn't need an audience for this. While you hoped it would go well, there was no telling with Loki. He would either talk rationally with you or he'd scream and shout.
You both walked side by side through the halls; until Loki pulled you into a darkened alcove, pressing you up against the wall. You waited for him to say something, it was the closest you'd been in a year and you were afraid to even touch him.
