My dearest big brother,
I don't blame you for how you feel, but I can't agree with you. To answer your question, yes I remember them. I remember how our Mother always smelt of roses. How our father would spin me around in his arms as soon as he walked through the door. It makes no difference, my choice will always be the same.
I love you, never forget that. I love him too. I wish we could find a way where I didn't have to leave. Unfortunately I know how stubborn you are, because I am too.
Loki and Bucky will keep me safe. On that at least we can agree.
This isn't me saying goodbye, this is me giving you time to heal. Maybe if I'd told you straight away, we would've found a way to deal with this better. For that I'm sorry. Don't feel guilty, and please don't look for us.
Just know that wherever I am and whatever I'm doing, if you call me I'll be there.
Thank you for everything.
All my love, your annoying little Sister. It had been a month since you'd sent Tony your goodbye letter, along with a burner phone. You meant it when you said if he called you'd answer, but you also knew he wouldn't. He was too stubborn, he'd be more likely to just turn up. Loki's magic shrouded all three of you, meaning that no cameras would pick you up. No phone calls could be traced.
You hated being away from your friends and family, but your relationship needed healing and that meant more to you than your brothers pride.
The small house you were renting was like something out of a fairytale. One bedroom with a Queen size bed and a small but charming bathroom. Flowers grew up the walls and there was no other houses around for miles. Your favourite part was the piano that sat proudly in the living area.
Being away, even in this small patch of paradise had taken its toll. You barely slept anymore. Which is what led you to writing a new song at five am on a Sunday morning. Loki and Bucky were still in bed, you didn't like to wake them, but this morning inspiration had hit. Putting the piece of paper with random notes on top of the piano, you ran your fingers across the keys.
You began putting the melody together before you started singing.
"Time wasn't in our favour,
This isn't goodbye,
This is simply see you later."***
Waking up in bed without Y/N wasn't something new for Loki. It gave him some time with Bucky alone and he loved that, but he missed her cuddles in the mornings. Bucky hovered over the top of him, placing kisses over his neck. They'd already had sex twice this morning and yet Bucky seemed ready for more.
"We are going to have to leave this bed at some point." Loki moaned out as Bucky nipped at his neck.
"But not yet." Bucky mumbled against Loki's neck.
Loki placed a hand against his chest, pushing Bucky up a bit. "Do you think she's going to be okay?"
Bucky wasn't as worried as Loki was because he knew you would be okay. You'd been through worse and come out the other side, they just had to give you time. "She will be in time. At least she's actually started coming to bed now. It's a step in the right direction." Bucky tried to reassure him with a kiss.
"What makes you so sure?"
Bucky smiled down at him. "Because she's got us. Besides, listen."
The sounds of the piano began flooding through the small house they were renting. The one thing Bucky had made sure of when finding somewhere, was that it had a piano. An escape for you, he knew you'd need it. His main focus was to take care of you and Loki, everything else could wait. When your voice started filtering through with the music, they both smiled.
