You stood back on Vormir, the orange stone glowing in your hand. It was the last one for you to return, the one that held the most hope as you stared down at it.
The walk up to the peak of the mountain was one you'd dreaded since leaving home. The gravity of what could possibly happen weighed down your every step as you climbed up.
Just as he had been before Red Skull was waiting for you.
"Y/N Laufeyson-Barnes."
"A soul for a soul right?" You skipped the small talk. You were here for a reason.
"They are the rules, yes."
Holding out the orange stone you looked up at him. "I want Natasha back."
"The power you wield..."
"Is unwanted and unneeded." You cut him off, anxious to get this over with. "The only power I need is that which comes from the love of my family."
"As you wish." He gestured to the cliff that haunted your every nightmare. "Return the stone, think of what you wish to claim. If it can be done it will be."
Tentatively you walked to the edge, unable to look down. Letting the stone drop from your hand you held your breath, waiting for something, anything to happen. A loud crash of thunder echoed around you, the ground beneath your feet changed from rock to water. Opening your eyes you recognised the shallow water as where you awoke with Clint the day you lost Nat.
"Sparrow?" A voice came from behind you.
Turning around your heart finally felt whole once more. "Romanoff, you miss me?"
"H-how?"
You walked over to her, biting back tears as you finally accepted that she was truly in front of you.
"A soul for a soul. The stone for you." Taking her hand in yours you could feel the gaping hole in your chest begin to knit itself back together. "Time to come home big sister."
Nat wrapped her arms around you, silent tears streaming down your faces as six years later you made your family whole again.
You kept your hands linked together as you walked back to the jet that Tony had adapted for you. Neither one of you wanted to let go in case it wasn't real.

Landing in the field outside your home you were excited for her to meet your kids. You knew Becca was especially excited to finally meet her Auntie Nat. They'd grown up knowing all about her, how much Mummy loved her and missed her.
As you walked up to the house you smiled at Nat. "Welcome to the mad house."
As predicted, the second Becca saw Nat she squealed with excitement. "Auntie Nat!" She bounded into Nat's arms.
Loki and Bucky weren't far behind with Nathaniel attached to Loki's hip. You walked over to them, kissing them both before taking Nathaniel from Loki. He snuggled into you, burying his head in your neck. Out of the two of them he was the shy one.
You could see Nat becoming overwhelmed slightly at the love Becca was showing her.
"Bex, give Auntie Nat a minute okay?" You placed Nathaniel down. "Why don't you take your Daddies and go play with the butterflies in the meadow?"
They didn't know that the butterflies were Loki's magic, something he'd done with them since Nathaniel was old enough to walk.
Bucky kissed you once again. "Proud of you doll."
"I know. Go on, I'll be out in a bit."
They disappeared outside, leaving you alone with Nat. "Come on, I'll show you to your room."
