Loki found Bucky outside, thankfully he was alone. Walking over to him, Loki could see the hurt in Bucky's eyes and it broke his heart. He placed a hand on Bucky's shoulder to stop him from walking away. "Please tell me you know I didn't mean what I said."
Bucky looked at him and wanted nothing more than to pull Loki into his arms, to punch him and take him to bed all at the same time, but he couldn't. Not yet. It was too painful. "I know you didn't but it doesn't make it any easier Lo." The insecurities he'd pulled on were still too fresh.
Loki let his hand fall and took a step back. "I only wanted to protect her."
Both of them ended up sitting on the ground beside each other. Little did they know that you had come outside to find them, instead opting to let them have this moment, you headed back inside, but watched them from the window, not trusting one or both of them to not act like an idiot.
With a sigh Bucky looked over to Loki. "You risked everything we had to do it." Loki knew nothing he said would help so he let Bucky tell him how he was feeling. "You went behind our backs. Again." He was referring to what Loki had failed to tell them about Y/N and Odin. Every time they were happy something seemed to change and every time it was Loki's secrets that became the problem. Bucky loved him, he really did but he just couldn't trust him and that hurt.
Loki shifted, turning to face Bucky. "I know. I'd take it all back if I could." The emotional distance between them was killing him, and he knew he only had himself to blame for it. Bucky didn't talk he just nodded his head. "Let me prove it to you. Please don't give up on us."
With a sigh Bucky stood up, brushing the dirt off his jeans as he did. "I'm not giving up Lo, just give me some time."
Without waiting for Loki's reply Bucky walked off in search of you, he needed you right now. He didn't have to look far, he found you in his room sat in the chair by the window, his blanket wrapped around you. You looked up as he came in and smiled at him. "How you feeling Buck?" You stood up and walked over to him dropping the blanket on the chair. He sat down on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands. "Confused doll. I'm so angry at him, I want to forgive him, I just can't."
You pulled his hands from his face, looking into his beautiful blue eyes. "Can't? Or won't? Because they are two very different things." He nodded in understanding but he didn't know what the answer was at that moment. "Look, Steve was looking for you, why don't you go and grab a drink with him? Maybe doing something normal will help?"
"Will you be here when I get back?" He asked letting a slither of vulnerability show through. You gave him a soft kiss before smiling at him. "I will be in our bed, with Loki. You don't have to talk to him, but you will sleep with us Buck. After everything I need you both okay?" He reluctantly agreed before going to find Steve.
You watched him leave and threw yourself back on the bed, before screaming into the pillow. Soon there was a knock at the door. "Come in." You muttered.
It was Nat, she looked at you concerned, she didn't need to tell you she was worried, her face did that just fine. "I'm okay Nat, or at least I will be." She nodded her head and left, sometimes a long girly conversation was not what you needed, and she knew that. You knew she'd be there for you to talk to when you were ready. After heading back to your room and having a long bath, you pulled on one of Bucky's shirts which fell to just above your knees and grabbed a pair of Loki's boxers and climbed into bed. It wasn't long until Loki joined you, you smiled as he wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you flush against him.

Bucky's POV
Me and Steve agreed to meet up at a bar that we used to go to during the 40's. It had obviously been updated but somehow the foundations had survived the war and the aesthetic was still pretty much the same. It was a little piece of our past that had survived along with us. There was pictures of the both of us, along with a few of the Howling Commando's. Smiling at the memories we settled into a booth in the back, the owner often saved it for us. Keeping us out of sight of the customers, it got old posing for pictures.
Steve passed me a beer at he sat down, which I quickly took a large gulp out of. Placing the bottle on the table, he looked over to me. "You know he never set out to hurt you."
Pinching the bridge of my nose I thought about what Steve had said, it wasn't anything I didn't already know, but it didn't fix things. "I know. Right now I just can't decide if I want to punch him or kiss him." I know that Steve is still coming to terms with my relationship, but the effort he'd made with Y/N in the last month, it gave me hope that one day we'd get our friendship back.
I watched as Steve thought about what I'd said. "What does Y/N think?"
I scoff as I remember the scene I watched between them, I can't help the way my lip curls up slightly as I remember it. "She shouted at him. Slapped him. Twice. Then kissed him." Saying it out loud I had to hold back a laugh, here I was sat wondering if I wanted to hit him or kiss him, and there she was doing both.
Steve's laugh brought me out of my thoughts. "I'm surprised that's all she did. Her temper is something else."
I laughed along with him. "Oh you have no idea pal."
We sat in a comfortable silence for a while, once we'd given up on the beer and gone on to something stronger, Steve looked over to me. "So as much as I'm enjoying the broody silence, what do you plan on doing now?"
I shrug my shoulders. "Hell if I know."
Steve passed me another drink before taking a sip of his own. "Look pal, I know I messed up and I'm planning on fixing it over time, but right now? You're sat here talking to me when you should be with her and Loki. Go fix it Buck."
I gulped down the lump in my throat. "I just want to give them some time." I lied hoping it was at least a good one. The way Steve raised his eyebrow at me told me different. "No you don't. You're scared that what he said is true."
I should've known better than to try and lie to him, he's known me since we were in school. I take a large sip of the liquid in front of front of me before looking back at him. "Isn't it?"Steve looked at me with a shake of his head, he sat forward leaning on his arms. "No. It's not, and you know she'd slap you too for thinking like that."

You rolled over in bed, expecting to find Loki still there but he was sat on the edge of the bed, his elbows resting on his knees. You laid your hand out next to him. "Hey." You kept your voice soft not wanting to startle him.
"Sorry love, I didn't mean to wake you." He turned to look at you, you could see the streaks down his face where his tears had fallen. You linked your fingers through his and squeezed his hand gently. "He'll come home Loki." He squeezed your hand gently but stayed silent. "Talk to me." You encouraged him.He laid down next to you, staring up at the ceiling. "I really messed things up this time. Everything I've put us through, and yet there's a possibility she'll still get that damn stick."
You rolled over on to your side, leaning on your arm. You turned his head to look at you. "Listen to me. Thunder is coming tomorrow to get that thing, everything else we can figure out together. You were an idiot but your heart was in the right place." You ran your hand down the side of his face with a smile. "Bucky will come around."He grabbed you and pulled you underneath him causing you to squeal. He leant over you with a smile on his face, one you'd missed terribly. His hand cupped your cheek and you leant into his touch. "How did I get so lucky?" You weren't sure if he was even aware that he was talking out loud but you answered him anyway. "We're lucky too my King, don't you ever forget that."
His lips crashed against yours, his frustration and love poured out into that one kiss. It wasn't long until he pulled back, resting his forehead against yours. "If I keep kissing you I won't stop and we have to wait for Bucky." You nodded your head in agreement.
You both settled back down in your bed, you in the middle and Loki behind you. Your hand rested on Bucky's pillow, you knew you wouldn't sleep properly until he returned.
Bucky returned not long after you and Loki had dozed off, your hand still resting on his pillow. He had been back a while, trying to wait until he knew you were both asleep before coming in. He didn't want to end up arguing with either of you. Silently slipping out of his clothes he climbs into bed with you, moving your hand from the pillow to his chest.
"Stubborn man." You grumble at him, he rewards you with a chuckle as he settles in closer to you. You lay your head on his chest while he plays with your fingers. "How did it go with Steve?" You whisper, your eyes still closed.
"Get some sleep doll. We'll talk about it tomorrow." He places a kiss on your head as you begin drifting off, happy to finally be back between the two men you love.
