Loki took you for a walk along the beach when you got home from your argument with Bucky. He knew you needed to clear your head.
"I don't know what to do Loki." You said as you held your shoes in your hand, your feet in the ocean. Loki held your hand, your fingers linked together.
"You can't keep running darling." He wanted nothing more than to protect you but he knew you wouldn't be able to move on, not until you'd confronted your past. You stopped and looked at him, he could see the fear in your eyes. "I don't want this to end." You'd fallen hard and fast for the God stood in front of you. You didn't want to lose him.
"It doesn't have to." He placed a soft kiss on your lips. "But you do have to talk to him, and I mean talk not shout." He gave you a look and you couldn't help but smile at him. You realised how much you loved him in that moment. The way he was head over heels in love with you and yet all he wanted was for you to talk to your ex husband."I love you Loki." You hadn't even meant to say it out loud, but you didn't regret saying it either. "I don't know when it happened, but I do."
Loki already knew you loved him, you made it obvious with the way you were around him. Hearing you say it out loud was the best thing he'd ever heard in his life though. "I love you too. I think I always have, but you love him as well."You knew he was right. No matter how angry you were at Bucky, you knew you'd always love him.
"Do you think it's possible to love two people at the same time?" You asked looking to the floor, you felt guilty for even thinking it.
Loki slowly lifted your head up, your eyes meeting his as he smiled. "With a heart as big as yours? Yes. Do I wish that I was the only one you loved? Of course I do." He kissed you again. "Can I let you go? No I can't. So if you say you love us both, then I'm not going to be upset because I would rather share you than lose you."You carried on walking in silence until you got back to your car. As Loki drove you home his hand found yours and he kissed your knuckles, you were lost in thought and he didn't pry. As you pulled up outside your home you smiled at him. "Is it wrong I want you anyway?"
Loki got out the car and opened the door for you, as you got out he placed his hands either side of you. Effectively trapping you in.
"You can't say things like that to me and not expect consequences." He said with a smile.
You returned the smile and ran your hands up his arms before leaning forward to whisper in his ear. "Unless the consequences are exactly why I said it."You watched his pupils dilate before he grabbed your hand pulling you to the front door. Rather than waste time finding the keys he used his magic to unlock it. The second the door was shut he pushed you back against it. His tongue diving into your mouth, hungry and desperate. Your hands went to his hair and tugged on it, causing him to growl as he pulled away from the kiss.
"I've wanted this since the day I saw you in the street." He kissed you again before moving his kisses to your neck. You could feel yourself becoming wetter by the second.
"Loki if you're not inside me in the next 5 seconds, I'm going to kill you." You threaten breathlessly.Loki smiled at you before using his magic to remove every piece of clothing on you both. With one swift movement he was inside you. You cried out, the pain of adjusting to him took a moment. He stopped moving for a moment, letting you adjust. The second you nodded your head he started pounding into you, not once moving his eyes from yours. It wasn't gentle but it was still full of love. As Loki started nearing his release he brought his hand down to your clit and rubbed until you clenched around him. As your orgasm ended, you placed a soft kiss on his lips, slowly lowering your legs back to the floor. "I love you." You smiled at him.
"I love you too darling. Now why don't you go find some clothes and we'll watch a film."
The next morning you were surprised to be woken up by your phone ringing. You had a rare few days with nothing to do. "Hello?" You answered groggily, trying and failing not to wake Loki up. He threw his arm around you. "Tell them to go away." You couldn't help but laugh at his antics.
"Hey Sparrow." Nat replied with a smile.
"Oh Nat, hey. How can I help?"
"Drinks tonight? Just you and me."
"Yeah sure, I'm free tonight, just let me know where."
"I'll text you. Hi Loki."
Loki groaned. "Morning Natasha. Can you please let me get back to worshipping my girl now?" You elbowed Loki, causing him to laugh and roll out of bed. Saying goodbye to Nat, you went downstairs, looking forward to a full day of relaxing with Loki.
That evening you meet Nat at a small bar the other side of the city, it has a small outside seating area. You're sat waiting for Nat to get back with your drink, as she sits down she places a bottle of beer in front of you. "Thanks." You smile at her before going to reach for the bottle. Nat notices as you wince in pain.
"Your arm still giving you problems?" She asks. You look to her with a surprised look on your face. "You remember?"
Nat moves to sit next to you, resting her cold bottle over the scar that resides there. "Of course I remember." She smiles at you. "You didn't give me and Clint much choice in the matter though. It was either an arrow through the arm or a bullet in your skull."
You grimace at the memory, it was the first time you'd seen Nat in years. You were still under the mind control of Dreykov at the time. Nat and Clint were sent after you by S.H.I.E.L.D, it was the first time you'd realised that you were being hunted. You'd gotten away but only because they'd let you.
"Did you ever go back and look for him?" You asked as the pain in your arm started to subside. Nat didn't need you to explain who you meant, she knew you meant Dreykov.
"He's dead Y/N." You look at her shock and disbelief written all over your face. "I've heard that before Nat."
She places her bottle of beer down before looking at you. "When you were in Wakanda, after your injury. I went back and destroyed the Red Room."
"Wakanda?" You question her. "I hadn't even told you about him by that point."Nat shakes her head, you clearly having forgotten that she could read you like a book. "You mentioned Budapest that day. It didn't take me long to figure out why." She shrugged her shoulders at you causing you to laugh.
"So why are we really here Natasha?" You raise your eyebrows at her. She could fool almost everyone else with her tactics, but never you.
"Tony sent me." You rolled your eyes at her. He never could deal with showing how much he cared, just like your father in that way. At least that's what you had been told anyway.
"He wants me to come back doesn't he?"
"We all do." She countered, everyone missed you, you'd brought life into the Avengers compound, with you gone the life had drained back out.
"I can think of at least one person who doesn't." Nat knew you meant Steve, she however knew how Steve truly felt about you. "You'd be surprised Y/N."
You rolled your eyes and agreed to think on it, which seemed to put her mind at ease. For the rest of the evening you both chatted about everything you'd missed out on. The tension between Tony and Bucky, the way Bucky spent most of the time moping about. The way Wanda and Vision had started dating. You enjoyed just spending the evening with your best friend. You knew full well you'd be back at the compound tomorrow, even if it was just to see everyone for a while.
What you hadn't planned on is the argument between Steve and Bucky. What you heard, was the last thing you expected.
