Walking up to the large windows, everyone stood in shock. A dark shadow was cast over the compound as Thanos' large spaceship blocked out the sun. You looked over at Loki, wishing you had the time to explain how sorry you were for shutting him and Bucky out. Unfortunately it looked like you weren't going to have time. You just had to hope Bucky was waiting like you planned otherwise this would all go to shit pretty quickly.
A barrage of missiles pummelled into the compound, the force separating everyone as rubble cascaded down around you. The noise was enough to leave your ears ringing, everything was dark telling you that you were beneath the surface. The last place you wanted to be. You had expected time to use the stones before defeating Thanos, for now you'd have to make do without them.
While you were trying to find a way out Steve, Tony and Thor had found their way outside. The sky dark with the smoke rising from the crumpled compound behind them. They could see Thanos sat below them as they stepped out.
"Y/N and the stones?" Steve asked.
Tony gave him a worried look. "Somewhere under all of this. All I know is he doesn't have them."
"We buy her some time."
Clouds began to gather in the sky, thunder and lightning cracking around them as Thor stared down at Thanos.
"He wants my spitfire and the stones. He goes through me first."The trio headed down towards Thanos, splitting up just enough to not be one large target as they approached him. The silence in the air was deafening as they took in the side of the ship still sitting in the sky above them.
As they got closer, Thanos stopped playing with the rock in his hands, looking at them with a disappointed smile. "And here I was hoping that she had come to her senses."
Tony scoffed, not hiding his amusement. "Yeah she's not known for that."
"Yet she called out to me. Inviting me here."
"Not for the reason you think." Tony bit back, struggling to believe Thanos really thought that for even a second. He was gloating, his arrogance shining through.
"You think I'm scared of a human?" The idea was almost insulting to Thanos, while he knew you were strong he knew he was stronger.
Thor came into view, rounding a pile of rubble. "You should be." He knew how strong you were, how strong you'd always been. It was something to fear if you were on the wrong side of it.
Thanos threw the small rock on the floor as he realised what was about to happen. He had only one choice left. "Then I guess I'll have to draw her out." Slowly he stood, placing his golden helmet on his head before grabbing his large double ended sword. "See how long it takes her to grumble when I take everything from her."
Steve held onto his shield a bit tighter. "She will always be stronger than you." Of that he had no doubts.
"Not if she's alone."
Fighting broke out rapidly, Tony and Thor using the lightning to their advantage as they tried to overpower Thanos. It was enough to stun him for a moment before he threw Tony across the battlefield. Thor and Steve continued to attempt to overpower him, both of them taking significant hits in the process.
You managed to crawl to the surface just in time to see Thanos all but destroying Steve's shield. The strongest metal on Earth being cracked apart like it was tin foil. Your body began to glow green as you rose into the air, flying towards them faster than you ever had before.
You landed with a thud, breaking everyone's concentration as they looked over at you.
"Enough!" You shouted, your attention fixed on Thanos. All the hurt and the pain that you had suffered because of him fuelling your power. Making you the one thing he could neither control nor destroy. "You want me? Come and get me." You taunted him.
