To say your escapades with your husbands had tired you out would be an understatement. You had barely moved from your bed all day. You were roused when Loki came back from seeing Thor.
He sat on the side of the bed, his head in his hands. You rolled over, smiling up at him. You held out your hand for him to take.
"Hey.""Hey," he smiled back taking your hand in his. "Where's Bucky?" He asked, squeezing your hand gently.
You'd kicked his hovering ass out a few hours ago. For someone as dominating as Bucky, he couldn't half be a worry wort. He'd fussed over you a bit too much, interrupting the sleep you desperately needed.
"He's out with Steve. What's going on?" You started to become worried, it was clear as day that something was on his mind.
"Odin wants us all on Asgard tomorrow." He told you as he laid down next to you.
You knew you'd have to go eventually, that much had been made clear before the wedding. That didn't make the news any easier to swallow.
"Why?" You asked as you sat up slightly to face him.
"I'm still Prince of Asgard. He wants a whole ball dedicated to the wedding." Loki looked at you, waiting to see what your reaction was going to be. Neither of you had the best memories of being on Asgard.
You couldn't help the paranoia that swept through you. Not a single bone in your body trusted Odin and his intentions. He'd been far too accepting over the wedding, especially after locking Loki up in the past just for loving Bucky and you.
"That's not the entire truth and we both know it."
"I know, but we don't have much choice my love." Loki brushed some hair behind your ear, placing a soft chaste kiss against your lips.
"If he puts you in a cell again, I'll burn it all to the ground." You were only half joking, there was nothing you wouldn't do to keep Loki safe. Even if that meant making an enemy out of the King of Asgard.
Loki smiled, his eyes almost sparkling back at you. "I don't doubt it at all."
You knew there was more on his mind than he was letting on. Something he was worried about.
"What are you thinking?"
He sighed, pulling you to sit on top of him needing to feel you close. "I don't want Odin near you." He admitted his fears, his hands resting on your bare thighs. The feel of you under his touch helped to calm the raging storm threatening to take over him.
"Whatever happens, we'll tackle it together." You tried desperately to reassure him.
He smiled up at you, moving one had to place against your cheek.
"Have I told you how perfect you are?""Every single day." You smiled, placing your hand over the top of his, leaning into his touch.
"Well you are." He pulled you down to him, kissing you softly.
When you pulled back he seemed to be more relaxed, less filled with dread. The softness of your body against his, the way you were looking at him, the way you'd reassured him. It had all helped ease the monster inside him. The one that wouldn't think twice about taking a life to keep the people he loves safe.
"I love you, my Queen."
"I love you too my King, always."
He pulled you back to him, this time kissing you more passionately, like he couldn't get enough of you. His mouth devouring your own as you felt him harden beneath you.
You pulled back, causing a whimper to leave his lips as you broke the contact.
You chuckled before placing another small kiss to his lips."As much as I would love to Loki, I'm too sore. You and Bucky have ruined me."
