Bucky had been pacing round the cottage all morning, something clearly on his mind. Loki comes up and wraps his arms around you. "Why don't you take him out for a while? You tend to get through to him more on his own when he's like this." Loki smiles down at you.
"You sure you don't want to come?" You offer seeing the stress in his eyes.
"Honestly darling I'm fine. We can talk later, take him out before he wears a hole in the floor." You laugh before pulling him in for a kiss. You melt against him as his hand grabs your ass, giving it a soft squeeze before he pulls away.
"Later." You promise before walking over to Bucky.

You throw his jacket at him which he catches due to his reflexes. "Come on Buck, let's go get some air."

"Doll, I'm fine."

You give him a glare that has him holding his hands up on surrender. You both give Loki a quick kiss before you head out. You walk hand in hand through the quiet streets of the village before you find a small cafe. You sit down outside, letting the rays from the sun soak into your skin. Bucky doesn't meet your gaze, his worries plastered all over his face.

You slide your hand across the small iron table, placing your hand over the top of his flesh hand. "Talk to me Buck."

He hesitates for a moment, unsure of how to voice what he's feeling. Words were never Bucky's strong point, but looking into your eyes gives him the confidence he needs. "Would it mean going to Asgard?" He refers to your wedding ceremony.

You give him a soft smile, rubbing your thumb across his knuckles. "No. Thor said he could do it here if that's what we wanted."

He runs his hand through his hair before looking back at you. "I mean it's not what I pictured for us."

You can't help the small chuckle that escapes you. "Name one part of our relationship that is how you pictured it?"

He rewards you with his own chuckle, knowing you were right. He'd never imagined you would ever give him another chance and you'd not only done that, but given him Loki too. He knows how lucky he is to have you both, but that's not what is worrying him. You know he's holding something back. "What's really wrong Buck? Because I don't think it's the idea of Thor performing our marriage rites."

He takes a sip of his drink, staring off into the distance as he remembers the past. "It was after our wedding last time that things went wrong."

You couldn't deny that, things had done nothing but escalate between the two of you after you'd left Wakanda. This felt different though, you'd both grown so much since then. "Do you really think we'd make the same mistakes twice?"

"The day you left with Loki. My world crumbled." Bucky blurts out, deciding to tell you the truth before he changed his mind. "I didn't just lose my wife. I lost my best friend too. I wouldn't survive it again."

You stand up to move your chair next to his, needing to be closer to him. "That was a long time ago Buck, we've come a long way since then." You take his hands in yours, kissing both of them on the knuckles.

He gives your hands a soft squeeze, your words finally sinking in. "I know we have. Just promise me this is forever."

"The three of us until the end of time. I promise."

He leans forward, nuzzling his nose against yours. "Then let's go plan a wedding." His heart skips a beat as he notices the sparkle in your eyes. You pull him to his feet, throwing your arms around his neck. "I love you James Buchanan Barnes."

"I love you too doll." His lips collide with yours, pulling you flush against him. For a moment you forget your in public as you moan into his mouth. He pulls away with a smirk. "Come on, let's go home and see what's wrong with the other one."

You link your arm through his, happy you weren't the only one that noticed the change in Loki this morning. "You know getting engaged isn't supposed to lead to both grooms having a temper tantrum." You tease, smiling as Bucky smirks down at you.

"I'll give you a fucking temper tantrum." You squeal as he throws you over his shoulder. "Bucky! Put me down!"

He lands a slap against your ass. "Stop having a temper tantrum." He teases, winking at the old woman who is watching you with a smile on her face. You try to cover your face with your hands as he walks you through the streets, heads turning to watch you as you went.

Once you made it back to the cottage, he puts you down outside. Laughing at you as you pout with your hands on your hips. "Go and sort our fiancé out doll, I'm going to go for a run. Then when I get back." He pulls you against him, his lips by your ear. "I'll have you screaming my name until sunrise." He nips at your ear, sending a wave of arousal through you.

He opens the door, pushing you through with a swat to your ass, before disappearing to get changed. You kick your shoes off, finding Loki laying on the sofa. You kneel down behind where his head is resting on his arm. You place a kiss on his cheek, smiling down at him. "What's going on in that big brain of yours Loki?"

He smiles but doesn't look at you, his mind racing. "We have to go back."

It was something you'd given a lot of thought to. You couldn't get married without your family there. "Yeah we do, but it'll be okay." You try to reassure him. He finally looks up at you, running his hand down the side of your face. You kiss the palm of his hand. "Besides, think of the heart attack Tony will have." You smirked thinking about how he was going to react to you getting married. Again.

The both of you start laughing, the tension easing. He slips his hand behind your neck, pulling you in for a kiss. His tongue caressing your mouth.

Bucky clearing his throat has you pulling apart. He stands in a t-shirt, his muscles popping against the material. His sweatpants doing nothing to hide the effect seeing you and Loki kiss has had on him. "Well I was going for a run, now I'm rethinking that idea."

You saunter over to Bucky, swaying your hips as you pull your sundress over your head. "By all means Sergeant Barnes, feel free to change your plans." You jump up into his arms, wrapping your legs around his waist.

He turns in the direction of the bedroom, his hands gripping on to your ass. "Lo, move your ass." He calls out as he moves swiftly towards where he planned on making good on his promise.

"Until sunrise?" You smirk at him.

"Or until you pass out, whatever comes first." His words alone have your underwear becoming damp. As he throws you on the bed, the look in his eyes tells you he plans on fulfilling that promise ten times over.
