may and bonnie snuck into caroline's bed while she was sleeping. they wanted to surprise her. stefan had proposed to her so they wanted to plan for their wedding.
may and bonnie were laying on her bed and when caroline turned over, she was startled.
"may, bonnie, what the." caroline said loudly making the other girls chuckle.
"surprise. you are engaged, and we are celebrating. first, we're gonna drink too much champagne. and then we are taking you wedding dress shopping. i know it's a little early on, but you're gonna try on thousands of dresses before you find the perfect one, so we may as well start now." bonnie told her.
"and we decorated your room." may said as caroline looked around, seeing the beautiful yellow decorations.
"may, look, i love you, and this is amazing, but you don't have to put on a happy face for me right now." caroline told her.
"i'm not putting anything on. i'm happy for you, caroline." may told her.
"besides, you asked me to be your bridesmaid when we were ten years old, care. you've been waiting for this your whole life. i'm happy for you." bonnie told her before popping open the champagne.
"okay, but i promise we are going to find enzo and you two are gonna be happy and you're gonna get married on top of the effiel tower-" caroline went on but may cut her off.
"first things first, tell her bonnie." may said.
"planning your june wedding." bonnie said, knowing she'd always wanted it to be in june.
"oh, my god. yes! the june wedding!" caroline said excitedly.
"the june wedding. and..." bonnie said before showing caroline her wedding scrape book that she'd made when she was young.
"you snuck into my house and found my old wedding book?" caroline asked her.
"how else were we gonna out caroline forbes caroline forbes?" bonnie asked her.
"you have a lot of detail in there." may said with a laugh.
"girls, this is amazing. you guys are amazing. thank you." caroline said.
"you're welcome." bonnie replied.
"of course." may replied.
caroline held out her hand with her ring and the girl's finally saw how nice it was.
"i'm getting married!" caroline shouted happily.
"yay!" all the girls shouted together.
"okay, now that i have a drink in you, i have to ask. how did ric take the news?" bonnie asked her.
"oh right, didn't he have a thing for you?" may asked her and caroline shrugged.

the girls went over to the wedding dress store and the hunt for the dress began.
"let's talk silhouettes. focus on a-lines and sheaths. i'm open to trumpets, but easy on the volume." caroline told the worker.
"less dress, more bride." she said catching on.
"exactly. thank you." caroline said with a bright smile.
"you're welcome. i'll be right back." the girl said going to look for different dresses.
"now, we can get to work finding you the perfect maid of honor dress." caroline said to bonnie.
"aw, i'd be honored to be your... maid of honor. and not just because my main competition is on a coma till i die." bonnie said.
may didn't take it personally that she would just be a bridesmaid. she knew her and bonnie had a long history.
"good. and may, i'm going to do everything within my bridal power to make sure you and enzo live happily ever after. i've got killer aim... and no qualms about rigging the bouquet toss. you ready?" caroline asked her, picking up a bouquet that was in the store.
"i'm ready." may said laughing.
"catch!" caroline said tossing it from behind her.
just before may could catch it, damon vamped in, grabbing it.
may noticed that damon had bitten the store worker and so did caroline and bonnie.
"damon, what are you... bonnie, run." caroline told her.
bonnie started running away but damon didn't run after her.
"i'm not after her." damon said before looking at may.
"come on, damon. we both know you can't take me." may told him.
damon smirked and before he could go after may, caroline went after him. damon grabbed her by the throat, choking her.
"oh, looks like little brother's getting married, huh? consider this my rsvp." damon said before throwing caroline across the room.
"may, run!" caroline told her.
may vamped off, making damon angry.
"may. i can hear your broken little heart beating, may. oh, poor mabel. literally always the bridesmaid. never the bride." damon said.
may vamped around and when damon turned around she stabbed him in the back with a wooden hanger.
caroline tossed may a wooden pole and may drove it through his stomach.
may looked damon in the eyes before taking off with caroline and bonnie.

the girls went back to the salvatore house and may had called stefan.
"stefan, if damon wants me dead, he's not gonna stop till i'm dead." may told him.
"why is he coming after you? it makes no sense." stefan replied.
"none of it makes sense. but we're gonna need weapons, lots of them. the throne is empty." caroline said after checking inside the throne.
that was where they usually stored all their weapons.
"right. yeah, sorry, i was child proofing. but the crossbows are still in the library. listen, i'm gonna try to track damon, and with any luck, the drone will lead us back to the queen." stefan explained.
"and when you find her?" caroline asked him.
"ric's still working on that part. your deadline just got moved up. you don't have days. you have hours." stefan told ric.
after that, the girl's went to the library to get the crossbows.
"do you think we can get away with not inviting damon to the wedding? i mean, even if we do save him?" caroline asked.
"he's gonna be your brother in law. and, likely, stefan's best man. sorry." bonnie reminded her.
"fine, fine. but he is not sitting at the head table. where is all the ammo?" caroline asked since they kept looking around but they couldn't find any.
"with stefan, could be anywhere." may said.
