may and enzo were laying in bed at the cabin on christmas eve. enzo had given her the gift he got her earlier than she expected, but she wasn't gonna complain.
she opened the box to see a small eiffel tower decoration inside.
"ah, i love it. i can use this to keep all my papers from blowing away." may said looking at him with a funny look.
enzo let out a chuckle and placed his hand on her hip.
"i'm taking you to paris, silly." enzo told her.
may let out a shriek of excitement before hugging enzo tightly. the two of them laughing happily.
"say the word and we're off." enzo said before kissing her.
may's phone started ringing but enzo kept kissing her so she wouldn't get up. she pulled away, giggling at him before answering her phone.
"look, i know we're late. i'm sorry." may said over the phone, knowing it was caroline.
"thank goodness. don't come. its damon. he's here with that psycho american idol reject. enzo cannot be around her. and don't even get me started on what matt and ric just tried to pull." caroline told her.
"well, what the bloody hell do sybil and damon want?" may asked her.
"to ruin christmas, i don't know. but they promised to leave my kids alone and i don't want a war. i just hope that they leave soon." caroline replied.
"well, what about the tuning fork?" enzo asked.
"she stole it from us." may reminded him.
"yeah, well, let's steal it back." enzo replied.
"okay, from where? for all we know it's in the trunk of her car." may said.
"it distrusts her psychic power and it hurts like hell. she won't be carrying it around with her. it's probably stashed where she's staying." enzo said.
"and we have no idea where that is." may reminded him.
"i can try to find out." caroline spoke up.
"she's not just going to tell you." may told her.
"she might. let me call you back." caroline said before she hung up the call.

may and enzo got in the car and they heard back from caroline.
"there's a mcmansion neighborhood called the pond estates. it's somewhere outside of grove hill." caroline informed them.
"all right. we'll check it out. are you guys okay over there?" may asked her.
"it's insane around here. sybil wants to be my bestie. lizzie and josie keep asking about seline. and i'm pretty sure stefan's just off hiding somewhere." caroline said.
"times like these i really miss having elena around. if she were here, damon wouldn't be doing any of this." may replied.
"yeah, well, she's not here, and..." caroline stopped.
"caroline? caroline." may said.
"i need another gift box." caroline said before she hung up the phone.
