I couldn't sleep because the kids were in my bed. I sat on the sofa and watched them; I wanted to wake them up and ask them, but they appeared to be very tired.Panay ang hikab ko habang nakatitig sa kanila. Biglang bumukas ang pinto kaya napatayo ako.

"Loki! Kakain na-"

"Shhh, Ma! Keep quiet. They're asleep." I even placed my finger on my lips to tell her not to make a sound.

She was taken aback as she looked around, then at the sleeping children, then at me. "Sino sila?! Your sons?!"

"Of course not!" sagot ko habang nakatingin sa mga batang nakahiga-ang isa ay halos daganan na ang isang bata at ang isa naman ay halos ipakain na ang paa sa katabi niya.

"Bakit sila nandito kung gano'n? Explain, Loki." Mama folded her arms and raised an eyebrow, but no matter how high she raised her brow, she couldn't be like Mrs. Minchin-si Mrs. Minchin na umaapi kay Sarah.

"I saw them in my backseat last night - and I have no idea how they got in there," paliwanag ko. Binalingan niya ng tingin mga batang nakatulog sa kama ko.

"Ang gu-gwapo! Sigurado ka bang hindi mo sila anak?" Napailing ako kay Mama.

She squeezed the children's cheeks so I stopped her, "They might have woken up, Ma."

Tumikhim ito bago lumayo sa kama ko. "Bumaba ka na, kakain na tayo," she said that I answered with a nod.

Ilang minuto lang ay narinig ko ang pagrereklamo ng isang bata. "Logan! Your feet-eww!"

"I almost died!"said the other boy, who was gasping. They're twins-adorable twins.

"Hey, Kiddos!" agaw pansin ko. Unti-unti ay tumingin sila sa' kin at napasinghap with matching hawak pa sa bibig.

"Is this for real?!" sabay nilang sabi.

Tumayo ako sa harap nila at namulsa. Sa tangkad ko ay tinitingala nila ako. "How did you get in my car?"

They both turned away when I asked. They exchanged glances, as if they were already conversing through their gazes - I was reminded of Thor and I when we were about their age.

"I want milk." Instead of responding to my question, they responded in a different way. Bagot kong kinamot ang ulo. Because they didn't eat last night, they must be hungry.

"Get up...we're going to eat." Their faces brighten as they hear what I've said.

I looked at their tiny feet when they got out of bed. I figured the floor would be cold, so I'd just lift them up. They smiled and stared at me as I carried them.

"What?" tanong ko ngunit wala silang sagot. Buhat ko sila sa magkabilaang braso ko hanggang sa makababa kami.

Mama greeted me with a smile and swiftly carried up one of the twins. "Ang gwapo talaga!" Gigil niyang pinisil ang pisnge ng buhat niyang bata.

"And your beautiful!" sa sinabi ng bata ay mas lalong napangiti si Mama.

"Sus! Bata pa pero bolero na...parang ikaw lang no'n, Loki." Humagikgik si Mama.

Pinaupo niya ang buhat ng bata sa tabi ni Lucy na hiyang-hiya na kumapit kay Papa. Kumpara kay Aurora ay mahiyain si Lucy.

Ang buhat kong isang bata ay pinaupo ko sa tabi ko. Naalala kong gusto nila ng gatas kaya ipinagtimpla ko sila gamit ang gatas ni Lucy.

"So...Kiddos, what's your name?" Dad asked. He's smiling right now, maybe if he uses his casual look the kids will be scared.

"Good morning!" masiglang bati ng nasa tabi ni Mama. "My name is Van Logan. You can call me Van or Logan but I prefer if you will call me Master." Napangisi ako bigla sa sagot ng batang nagngangalang Logan. Master, huh?
