Mitchell stopped Angie from touching Jo. "What were you thinking?" Mitchell was angry. "I didn't mean it", Angie pleaded, "I warned her that I didn't know my limits...I told...I". Angie couldn't say anymorw words. She ran out of the class.

"You need to go after her", Jo muttered weakly, "she needs help". "She literally sent you flying across the classroom". Mitchell snapped. "You of all people should know that Angie would never hurt Jo on purpose", Lin said, "she has no idea what she is capable of. She needs someone to be there".

The door banged open and Mr. Dhawnren came in.  "What in the name happened here?" His voice shocked them as it had a heavy accent. He bent down to inspect her. "Johanson, can you see me clearly?" He asked. "No" she replied. "There's a discoloration in the pupils", he announced, "this could be bad".

He carried her and the two followed him. "Shouldn't we be going to the clinic?" Lin asked when they passed the nurse's office. "She needs professional medical care", he opened the janitor's closet, "by the time we reach the hospital, it might be too late". "I'll stay with them", Lin turned to Mitchell, "find Angie before she hurts herself. She's still in school. I can feel it". Mitchell nodded and went off.

Angie sat on the floor of the girls' bathroom. She saw the replay of Jo flying after she screamed. She was shivering and her eyes were blinking the color.

Mitchell's mouth gaped as soon as she opened the bathroom door. Different portal holes were appearing and disappearing. Angie sat on the floor in the middle of everything hugging her knees. Mitchell took in a deep breath then entered.

The two guys that were in the secret room turned their heads to the teacher and the unconscious girl in his arm. "I need my tools!" He barked at them. The blond haired guy ran to a cupboard at the side and brought out a box. "What's happening to her?" The red haired one asked. "If I'm correct, she's hemorrhaging". Was his short reply before he focused on his patient.

Lin took the time to look around. The room was wide with three single chairs, a sofa and a big wooden table. She spotted the dumbbells and weights in another corner and weirdly, there were chains and bloodied handcuffs in the adjacent one. What is going on? She asked herself.

Angie held her breath when she felt a hand on her back. She did that to avoid panicking and hurting someone again. Mitchell later held her hands and sat in front of her. Angie's ears were barely working but she could read her lips. 'I'm not afraid of you', she said, 'you won't hurt me'.

Angie wanted to tell her how wrong her how wrong she was but she couldn't. "Angie! Angie!" Mitchell burst into a fit. Angie's neck was almost blue and she was pale. "Angie, what are you doing?! Breathe!" She yelled shaking the girl frantically. "Angie! You can't do this to me!" Mitchell was a raking mess at this point. After everything, she could bare to lose the girl sitting in front of her. She loved her.

In a flash, lips met lips. Angie forcefully released her breath to welcome the kiss. Mitchell grabbed the side of her face and deepened it. Angie closed her eyes and allowed herself to get lost in the bliss. There was nothing else in the world just the two of them and an outburst of emotions.

Mitchell pulled away first exposing a red faced Angie. "I'd be red too", Mitchell joked, "but my skin tone disagrees". "Thank you". Angie flung her arms around her. "Thank you". She whispered again. "Where is Jo?" She asked. "She'll be fine. Let's go meet them". Mitchell helped her up.

Lin became worried when Jo started shaking. She wanted to asked questions but the beads of sweat that decorated his forehead told her otherwise. She didn't fail to notice him rolling his fingers and producing a navy blue cloud. This entered Jo's nostrils and her body steadied. Her skin was returning to it's normal shade.

Angie and Mitchell arrived in the room followed shortly by Grayson, Jason and a dark haired dude. "Oh my gosh!" Lin gasped at the big arrow that pierced his shoulders so bad the tip came out from the other side. "Can't a fella get a break?" Mr Dhawnren sighed sounding more British than before.

"Angie". "Jason" The two said at the same time. "What are you doing here?" He questioned first. "I could ask you the exact same thing". She crossed her arms. Grayson put a protective hand around his waist. Jason whispered into his ears and Grayson reluctantly scooted away.

"How did you find this place?" He wondered. "Our science teacher who clearly has an explanation to give brought them here", she replied, "your turn". "Gray and me found the guy after he was attacked. This is actually my first time here". He answered.

They both turned to the cry of pain from the other guy. "You will have to be steady if you want this to work", Mr Dhawnren instructed, "it would heal once the arrow is out. You're losing too much blood, my friend". The teacher dragged the arrow again. He screamed and screamed until it was detached from his body.

He dropped the weapon beside Jo who was laid on the table. "Now, can someone please explain what is going on?" Lin was tired of everything. It was kinda freaky. Grayson looked at the teacher as if to communicate with their eyes. Mr Dhawnren nodded his head in approval before shifting to wash himself off.

"You're standing  in the midst of werewolves", Grayson said, "this is our lair so to say. What's your story?" Lin laughed. "You're kidding, right?" She said, "there are barely any wolves in Bresten and werewolves don't exist". The blond guy extended his fangs and claws with a glowing pair of blue eyes.

Lin rushed to Angie and Mitchell's sides. "I think I believe you". She said scared of new development. "How does Mr Dhawnren fit into this? Is he your leader?" Angie asked. "No. He's our doctor". "I said I preferred the term healer", Mr Dhawnren reentered the room, "but I am convinced that you kids never pay attention. Inside or outside of the classroom".

Grayson rolled his eyes, " you still haven't answered me", he pointed out, "why are you here?" "He saved our friend". Grayson turned to the teacher as if to scold him. "Don't fret. They probably know about the supernatural world more than you", he waived, "they have been fighting the aggression". "How do you know about that?" Mitchell was the one who spoke up now. He shrugged and said, "I keep my eyes and ears about. Learning about someone or something quickly draws the line between  friends and foe".

Angie understood his point. Grayson frowned. He wasn't still getting an answer. Angie obviously picked this up. Angie snapped her fingers and the red sparks duplicated the table. "He needs one too". She signaled to the bleeding boy. That act took Grayson's words from his mouth. Magic. He had witnessed the magic that his father had gloriously disliked.

"Why hasn't he stopped bleeding?" Grayson faced the doctor. "The effects of mistletoe, I'm afraid", he replied, "it prevents healing but since the object is out of his body, the mistletoe would lose power. He has to force his healing.. Take it as a training".

Grayson could guess the teacher's next question so he answered, "they were around the division", he said, "I don't know who gave them a hint but they seemed informed about the patrol duties". "Have you broken this down to him yet?" "He would want details. I don't have that".

"Who is 'he'?" Lin asked. "And who are 'they'? Angie added. "'He' is my father", Grayson's voice turned deep, "he's the Alpha". "While the unfriendly guest he speaks of are hunters", Mr Dhawnren completed, "werewolf hunters".
