Angie was struck. "I thought that was just a freak accident", she shook her head, "or you did it yourself". Daniel held her hands, "Nolan wiped my memories of you and took you as her daughter", he explained, "she always had this addiction to perfection. The perfect husband, the perfect job, the perfect kids...she wanted it all".

"What does that have to do with me?"

"She got pregnant two times after Dave but they were boys. The doctor said it how her genitals were programmed. Nolan was furious. She wanted a boy and a girl".

"What happened to the babies?" Angie asked with the fear of the truth. She was convincing herself that no one could be that evil. Not even Nolan. "She killed them both", Daniel dropped the bomb, "and took everyone's memories of them".

Angie felt a pang in her chest. Cries of babies filled her ears. Children that had every right to live. "I can stop explaining", Daniel was worried as she turned pale, "I'm probably making you late for the party". "Please...continue". Angie whispered.

Daniel knew his daughter was stubborn so he went on. "There were times when you would see me around and call out but I couldn't remember. Nolan tried the memory wipe a dozen  times but it kept failing. Until you gave up on me", he said, "you accepted that I didn't love you anymore and you stop remembering. I don't know how but I got my memories back. Nolan was furious. She knew that I would stop her at all cost so she started the fire. She stood there and watched me burn".

Angie was crying at this point. Daniel wipes her face. "I'm sorry", she sobbed, "I'm sorry for giving up". "It wasn't your fault. You fought harder than any person in the world".

"But it wasn't enough. She took me away from you. I don't even know who I am anymore".

"Of course, you do". Daniel held her face, "you're my little princess", he smiled, "you're strong. You're brave. I practically watched you die and survive. You're so much more than you believe". Angie matched her hazel eyes with his. She had always been wondering where she got her eyes from but the answer was right in front of her.

She chuckled and hugged him. "I missed you Dad". She said. Daniel did a summersault in his head. His own tears fell. He had waited long enough to hear her say that. "I missed you too, Angela". He whispered into her hair.

"Can I at least dance with someone?" Veronica groaned. "No!" Grayson answered sternly, "you're staying right beside me". "That's not fair!" She crossed her arms, "you too are probably gonna be making out and come on!...it's Valentine's day. No one should be alone on the day of love". "I'm trying to save every guy here from you so be grateful".

"Well, Mo...I mean Candice said I could have fun".

"And she also told me to babysit you and I say no boys".

"I'll run away". Grayson stopped walking as she made the threat. Veronica stood on the spot. She wasn't going to let him treat her like a kid or threat. "You're fifteen. You shouldn't be worried about boys", he shrugged, "guys are all douchebags". Jason let out a cough and quirked his eyebrows.

Veronica smiled. "Jason, don't you think he's being to mean to me?" She said with an innocent tone. Jason looked at Grayson. They stared until Grayson huffed. "You dance for just five minutes", Grayson said, "per guy. Geez! I can't believe I just said that". "And if you slip up, we go straight home. Understood?" Jason added. Veronica nodded, hugged them and ran inside. "You're so gonna regret this". Grayson warned Jason then went after her.

Veronica was so excited. The decorations left her in awe. "Lin didn't go overboard. Nice". Grayson commented with a smile. Suddenly, Jason's mood changed. "What's wrong?" Grayson had obviously noticed. "This is first time we're going public", his voice was low, "what if...I think we should just keep our heads down".

"Jas, look at this people. Does anyone of them look like your Mom?"

"An even better reason to hate". Jason crossed his hands. Grayson looked around. Luckily, he saw Angie jogging up to Mitchell before pulling her to the dancefloor. "Who cares? If they want they can throw tomatoes", Grayson smiled, "then let them. I don't care. As long as you're by my side".

Jason gave a small smile too. He took Grayson's hands and they went on the dancefloor. Many people started whispering. "Oh my!" "Are I am dreaming?" "This is not happening". "Girls are gonna be crushed". "They are so cute!!" That was what Jason was hearing before he tuned them out and focused on those brown eyes that he was in love with.

Mitchell was fidgeting in worry before Angie came to tap her. She wasn't even given time to explain as Angie dragged her for a dance. "I'm sorry". Angie apologized quickly. "Were you with him?" Mitchell asked in understanding. "Yeah. You were right. I needed to talk to him".

"I'm glad you did. You look less depressed now".

"Hey! It's not my fault that everything around us has been screaming death". They both laughed. "You look beautiful", Mitchell smiled, "also Lin might kill me if I don't tell you so...I was the one who told her to get the dress". Angie stopped moving. "Is something wrong?" Mitchell raised an eyebrow.

The rhythm of the song and the coolness of the air tensed. Angie grabbed Mitchell's face and pushed their lips together. Mitchell responded immediately. She had been waiting for this moment for a long time. It couldn't have been more perfect.

Angie didn't know where the courage came from. All she wanted was to be with Mitchell...to feel her. Their lips moved in sync and occasionally, she would smile in between. By the time they pulled apart, the other students were clapping. "You all have me to thank!" They could hear Lin boasting about her successful party planning. "Let's get out of here while we still can", Mitchell whispered into Angie's ears, "Lin is coming this way".

Angie chuckled and let Mitchell drag her out. They were outside the hall in minutes but not after hearing Lin yell, "keep it PG 13!"  Mitchell attacked Angie with her lips once they were in the bathroom. "You've been waiting for that, haven't you?" Angie smirked as they resumed their activities.

Suddenly, Angie heard a ring. "Ah!" She groaned as she held her head. Her eyes were squeezed shut but she could tell that they had changed colors. THE WOLVES ARE COMING!! She screamed into Mitchell's head without opening her mouth. "Angie! Angie!" Mitchell tried to make her snap out of it.

The ringing finally stopped. Angie locked eyes with Mitchell. "We need to go back. Something's wrong". She said and dashed out. Mitchell sighed and followed. When is something never wrong.  She internally rolled her eyes.

Angie entered the hall and was soon standing in the middle. The music was still very loud and everyone was still dancing. Was I wrong? I couldn't have been. She thought. It was confusing. Lin and Jo were in front of her now. "Where's Mitchell? Did something happen?" Lin asked worriedly. "What are you looking for?" Jo was also searching around.

Almost immediately, the windows broke. Large black wolves appeared on the ground. With a loud growl, they began their attack. Students were bumping into each other as they ran to safety. Angie was sick at the sight in front of her. Blood spilled on the floor and bodies dropping like flies.

A big wolf was about to jump on Grayson from behind when Veronica threw her knives into its neck. "I guess I just earned your trust". She helped him to stand up. "Thanks. I'm glad you're safe". He replied. He was getting a hang of the big brother feeling. "Let's go and find those magical girls". Grayson then realized that Jason wasn't by his side. "I'll meet up with you!" He shouted, "I need to find Jason".

Jason was swimming himself through students. They had pushed him during the outbreak. He was rushing back to find Grayson. "Jason!" He heard his name. It was clearly Grayson and he was still inside the hall. Jason put on his football sense and pushed the students to different sides. "Grayson!" He yelled back.

They met, hugged briefly and went toward Angie and the rest. Angie was staring furiously at the wolves. They had killed all the students that were in their front. Left in the hall were Mitchell, Lin, Jo, Veronica, Grayson, Jason and Angie.

"Next time, send me and invitation". Nolan said and laughed maniacally. She was seated on the windowpane. Angie was blinded with rage. This was nothing but a joke to her. "You guys handle them", she told the others, "I'm going after her".
