Angie crossed her arms, "how long do you have?" She asked, "I mean people live with this for years. Lin, Mitchell and I can sustain you". "With the way, I'm feeling...I'll be lucky if I make it to graduation". Jo gave an honest reply. Angie pinched the bridge of her nose and walked out. Mitchell received a nod from Jo before going after her.

"She clearly sent you after me", Angie said as she leaned against the wall, "you could have told her you were mad at me". "I actually wanted to make sure you didn't jump into any portals and do something stupid". Mitchell's composure was cool. "You seem extra peachy this morning", Mitchell stood closer to her, "what happened?"

Angie sighed, "that girl you saw me with...her name is Ashley", she started, "she chained me hoping I could lead her to Nolan to exact revenge". "Looks like you guys had time to chat". Mitchell smiled.

"I wouldn't call it a chat. Ashley called Mommy on me".

"Let me guess...mommy went to high school with Nolan".

"Bingo! That's not all though", Angie chuckled, "she's my mom". Mitchell stood straight. "I always thought that if I saw her", Angie continued, "I would burst with joy and hug her. I felt anger and sadness. The opposite". "I'm so sorry about that". Mitchell moved closer to hold her but Angie put a hand up. "I don't wanna talk", she said, "you asked me what happened and that was it".

Before Mitchell could get another word out, Levi ran upstairs. "I can't find Lin". He told them. "Give  her time", Angie said, "she's never dealt with emotions. She kinda just tosses them to the side. She'll be fine". "Her phone is  switched off". Levi added. Mitchell smacked his head and sneered, "you didn't think to say that first?"

Grayson was quite during Jo's announcement. Her pain was rubbing off on him. She was becoming the pack healer and all healers were members of the pack. "I heard the howl", Jo told him, "he called out to you". Grayson nodded. "You have to be prepared to deal with it", she said, "when we find him, he wouldn't want to see you. He would feel guilty for what happened. Be there for him". "If he doesn't listen to me, you'll whack some sense into him", Grayson chuckled, "you're not dying on me".

"Your phone was dead". She directed it at Veronica. "Yeah, about that..." Veronica sat up, "it's not exactly easy to navigate a running wolf". Jo furrowed her eyebrows and asked, "you were running?" "Yeah", he answered, a little embarrassed, "my instincts kicked in". "Such an idiot!" Jo smiled widely.

The door burst open with the others having bad news about Lin. "I know Xander took her", Mitchell said, "she followed him that night and we've been so caught up, she never got the chance to spill what she saw". "She's unconscious now. Our mind communication isn't getting through". Angie added. "I have an idea of where she and Jason might be". Jo said removing a laptop from under her pillow.

"You said you ran to this point before it broke off?" She showed Grayson a picture of the forest towards the East of the town. Almost joining with Norroway. "That should be it". Grayson scratched the back of his neck. She removed a book from her bag and showed them Goldie's drawing of the star.

"I have been doing so much research on tethers and bonds", she announced, "there is something connecting Goldie to the covens. Her light. I remember that when she draw it, the first seconds of the ink was shimmering in gold". "How does that have to do with anything?" Angie was getting lost.

"Jason called me the day he disappeared. I didn't think the call was related so I brushed it off", she explained, "he said that there were five wolves dead and where he stood was the middle". "That's true. Levi and I were there with him", Grayson confirmed, "we didn't think it meant anything". "Veronica, get me Goldie". Jo instructed. Veronica nodded and dashed out.

"Five points and one in the middle. The sign of a ritual", she said, "he wants to use Jason for a ritual. Witches are involved but only because they stand to gain as well. Maybe they want the healing of werewolves or the speed". "Okay", Angie crossed her arms, "where do we go from here?" "I need Goldie first".

Goldie came in after Veronica and Mike. "Hold the drawing". Jo ordered Goldie. Goldie didn't question it. She held the paper and it glowed. Mitchell was looking out the window and she was in awe. "Guys look". She beckoned. A ray of light stood in the middle of thick greens. "Precisely!" Jo cheered. Jo typed on the system and brought out an address. "The star had been prepared for months almost like the witches knew they were going to have a ritual at that point". Jo added. "They did know". Angie said.

She had looked through Nolan's memories after all. "Nolan collected the pupils of many victims", Angie related, "the witches used it for foresight. Not finding Goldie was the only reason why we beat them last time". The expression of shock on all their faces varied. "The address?" Grayson asked agitated. This was their only lead in months and to think the answers had been with them the whole time. "It's for a house on the left side of the star", Jo told them, "Goldie has to hold on to the paper. I even think if she takes it outside, you'll locate the star faster".

Mike and Veronica were tasked to watch Jo. Andreas and Vinci were headed to the station. Sophia gladly gave Grayson and Mitchell the keys to their cars. Angie, Levi, Goldie and Mitchell took one car. "I'll get other members of the pack and meet you there!" Grayson yelled and zoomed off.

Jason became furious once he saw Lin. "I swear, if she's hurt..." Jason raised his fists. "Don't hurt yourself", Xander smirked, "she's fine. For now". Jason looked back at Lin. He didn't see any bruises or strangle marks so she was actually safe. "We have a situation though", Xander sat down, "her friends would be rushing for her rescue the moment they realize that she's gone".

Jason continued to glare at him. "We have to move", Xander frowned, "the day of the ritual is still ahead". "Ritual?" Jason had actually never heard Xander's plans for him. He thought the fool was going to keep him until he mysteriously falls in love with him. "I haven't even told you! Silly me", Xander laughed, "that bond you have with that Alpha is a problem so is the baby. The plan is simple and quick. The witches cut you open, use the foetus for spells to make me stronger and then sacrifice my pack members for whatever abilities they need".

If Jason wasn't disgusted by him before, he surely was now. Cut me open? I haven't even told Grayson the truth yet. He thought to himself. Jason suddenly felt dizzy. Xander caught him and placed him on the bed. "Sleep well my love". He kissed Jason's forehead and walked out.

Lin opened her right eye first to check if the coast was clear. She shook Jason's body and whispered, "this isn't the time for sleeping". "Lin?" She quickly covered his mouth to stop him from saying it loudly. "It's me", she said, "we don't have much time. Angie and the others are coming but we have to get out of here".

Lin was way smarter than anyone thought. Her dad thought her to be conscious of her environment. While she was in Jo's room, she saw someone move in the bushes. She knew they were laying ambush for her so she made it easier for them. When Xander had put the cloth on her face, she held her breath. She could hold her breath for two minutes. Another thing to thank her dad for.

'Angie, I'm awake. I know you guys are coming. I have a plan too but hurry, Xander wants to move immediately'. Angie was stunned to receive the message. She turned to the others and broke the news, "Lin is okay but she said Xander wants to move them. We have to go. Now!"
