Hardin' Point of View...

I resume my work just the next day we bid farewell to Mark Scott, to my father. One thing I learnt from my father is to love and respect your work. He do have left this entire empire for me as his legacy and I will do my best to take it to new heights of Success. Events after the funeral ceremony were not so memorable. I ended up in bed with Rinne multiple times later that night. I cannot believe the unholy things I did to her within the holy premises of the church. The fact that Rinne hasn't left for New York yet worries me. The more she stay, the longer I will have to follow her demands and her demands usually and generally means sex and nothing else. Also, the fact that when I asked about Tedd, she didn't gave me a proper response. I do miss him. He has my blood running in his body, he is a Scott, but, I know if my mother ever finds out about Tedd, she will be disappointed and most importantly it will break her more then she already has been by her past with her husband, with my father, the famous Mark Scott.

Good thing is that Renne didn't contacted me back ever since this morning I left her chamber. But, I know that woman only means trouble. I love having sex but when it comes to Rinne, I just hate it. It's good to get a blow job, it's good to fuck someone in different positions, but, the fact that she is my mother's bestfriend, changes everything. If she would have been some random old woman, I would have thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with her, but, knowing our history together and the fact that she is the only one other then me, my mother trusts and believes blindly just changes everything. If ever my mother finds out what her bestfriend has done to me or what we have together in the present, just the thought alone runs my blood cold. I feel shivers down my spine.

I hear sound of my office door and I see Coley entering my office. She locks the door and makes her way towards me. God, if she wants sex , I will have to let her down, I am already exhausted after multiple rounds of meaningless sex with Rinne from last night, I don't have the energy neither the interest to fuck anybody else, atleast not until tonight. She smiles and shakes her head. "Don't worry I am not here for sex, we can do that at your place tonight if you agree, I am here to give you some paperwork that arrived while you were away on your business trip", it's like Coley is a mind reader, like she can read my mind. I thank her and take the files from her and she gets herself comfortable on the couch.
"How was your business trip", I curtly reply back, knowing very well in which direction this conversation is heading. "Good and Successful, the way it should be". Coley just nods and I can read her like an open book. "You can ask me about Tessa if that's what you want to ask", just the mere mention of Tessa' name upsets Coley. She leaves her couch and starts pacing in front of me like a madwoman. "Why you think I want to ask about her", I just laugh at her fake innocence, I know Coley , she has never been the jealous type, but eversince Tessa has arrived in to the whole picture, she gets jealous from time to time. She knows I like Tessa but she just cannot understand or doesn't want to understand that Tessa is like all the other girls for me. She is my employee and I like her because she is best at her job. "You have nothing to worry about Coley, nothing happened between us on our business trip", she sighs and turns her face completely for once towards me, "Then why didn't you let me come with you, I am your secretary Hardin, I go wherever you go", I quickly shake my head and correct her on her mistake.."Yes you are my secretary but you don't go wherever I go, you go wherever and whenever I want you to go", I am frustrated, after yesterday, I don't have the energy to console her for the millionth time over the same topic. "Also, I have told you so many times that there is nothing between me and Tessa, all I want is to get in to her pants but trust me she is too much of a prude to let me in, and.." , I get up from my chair and crosses my desk and put my arms around Coley' shoulders and embraces her from behind. "I have you, I don't need anyone", I drop a kiss on her forehead and gently rubs her shoulders, instantly she relaxes her back on my chest. I always thought that my arrangement with Coley will have no strings attached but eversince Tessa has entered in to my life and has clouded my mind and my thoughts, I can feel a total change within me, the way I feel about other women, the urge to fuck them is still there but I don't feel the race I used to feel towards them before Tessa. Now, most of my time goes thinking about Tessa and I never had the urge to understand anyone in a more personal way, but, I want that with Tessa. Like, with Coley, I never had the urge to know her family or to understand what she likes and what she dislikes, I just enjoy our time together, but with Tessa, I want to know every single details, I want to know her family, I want to know her likes and dislikes and most importantly I want to know this boyfriend of hers. This Matthew guy. The way he was acting towards Tessa at my dad's funeral ceremony, clearing he was trying to mark a statement in front of me and I don't like people doing that, atleast not in front of me.

I quickly make my way towards my desk and busies myself with the pending paperwork, Coley understands my actions and starts to leave my office, when I suddenly remember about the business presentations that Tessa prepared on our business tour, she hasn't emailed me those, I ask Coley to sent Tessa to my office. "She hasn't come yet and I have been told that she has already informed that she will be late today". I nod and wonder what kind of work she has that she is coming late to office. "Umm..do you know she has a boyfriend", my sudden interest towards Tessa' boyfriend startles Coley and again she gets upset, I don't care. She nods and again turns to face me, "His name is Matthew Collin and he is an emerging business man, he is currently helping his father with their family business and last time I checked they are looking for some new investors for their new line of products", I nod and this information about Tessa' boyfriend do interests me. "What kind of business they are in and what kind of products they deal with", Coley' irritation further increases with my added questions.."Garments, Clothes, whatever you want to say, Retail..", I smirk, I know exactly what I have to do, I have to keep my friends close and my enemies closer and this Matthew guy is clearly my competition and every person who is my competition, easily becomes my enemy. "Arrange a meeting with them, I want to invest in their business", I see Coley' eyes bulging out with my announcement.."But Hardin that's not an area we deal..", I shake my head, completely dismissing her.."Do as I ask you to do, if we haven't dealt in Retail then now we should start. I always wanted to have an experience in that area and I see this as a perfect opportunity for us", Coley nods and within seconds she is out of my office, clearly not happy with my sudden decision. I need to understand and know this Matthew guy, what makes him so special.

About 30 minutes later, Coley calls me to share the details of our arranged meeting. I leave my office and head towards our meeting location, The Collin Retail Group.

The moment I enter their office, I am greeted by Matthew's secretary, I find her attractive, I wonder if he is also banging her behind Tessa' back, like I have sex with Coley, quite often. She escorts me and my team towards Matthew's cabin. I enter and I am greeted by Matthew obviously and an elderly man, I believe he is Matthew's dad. We quickly exchange our formal greetings and I start our meeting.

After nearly an hour of discussion, I found their entire product line interesting and I decide to invest my money in their business, like I said, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. We end our meeting and I take my exit from their office. The moment I walk out , I am greeted by the beautiful sight of my Tessa, wearing an olive green outfit, looking as stunning and beautiful as she always do. I wonder if she looks beautiful in almost everything she wears. Earlier colour red was my favourite and now I see Olive Green also making my list of favourite colours. She looks shocked to see me.
I greet her, "Ohh..Hey Tessa. Nice to see you here during office hours..." , she nods and takes her time to reply me back. "It's nice to see you too Hardin"..I move towards her and bent down so that I can see her eye to eye. I get closer to her and chuckles as I see her nervousness increases, I bring my lips closer to her and then whispers seductively to her.."Well you look good in green too, I will see you in office today, good luck with your boyfriend"..I smirk, knowing I can make her nervous. I turn and start to walk away, when suddenly I remember to share the exciting news to Tessa.."Ohh...by the way congratulations to your boyfriend, we are now business partners.." and just like that I leave a confused , shocked and nervous Tessa with her own thoughts.
