This day at court was awful, well and truly awful. Leslie Stone, Mona's friend from where her grandma lives, testified against Ali in court whilst also dragging all of us and Mike down. She found a card where Mona told her Ali had sent her a death threat.

When we get to Spencer's we wait for both Hannah and Ali to call to talk and explain what happened.

"Stalked her?!" Hannah sounds pretty annoyed. "I did not stalk her. You told me to keep an eye on her at all times."

"Well, I probably would've let her go to the bathroom by herself." Spencer shakes her head.

"Who the hell is Lesli stone? I mean, does she go to our school? Because I've never even heard her name before today." Ali tells us.

"She lives near Mona's grandparents. Last summer, they became besties." Hannah explains.

"A bestie who couldn't be bothered to go to her funeral." Emily rolls her eyes and sits back in her seat.

"Yeah and somehow dug up a greeting card that makes me look like Squeaky Fromme." Ali points out.

"But guys, what if Lesli's here on behalf of another friend?" Aria suggest. That is a good question.

"She's not A's pawn." Hannah sighs. "Lesli really cared about Mona, that's why she wants to see Ali fry."

"Ali, what does your lawyer say about this?" Emily asks.

"Guys, we have nothing." Ali sighs in defeat. "What happened to the varjack trail?"

"Well, it led us back to Mona's house and this paper filled with weird phrases." Aria tells her.

"Well, I need something. I'm about to get life in prison because Mona wanted to use her last Laurel and Hardy stamp." Ali sounds so desperate it's almost sad to hear.

"Alison what else can we do?" Spencer asks her. "We questioned Cyrus, we hunted down the pizza box number, Hannah even tried to tell Tanner about A. You don't have an alibi." She points out.

"Now you're sounding like my lawyer. She thinks going after a possible witness is a complete waste of time." Ali tells us.

"Wait. What witness?" Hannah asks.

"Someone might have seen me, on thanksgiving." She says and my eyes widen. She's only now mentioning this?

"At the playground? You said that you didn't see anybody." Spencer says.

"I didn't, but I might not have been there alone." Ali tells us and explains how she was sat on the swings for like an hour when she heard something in the tunnel and got scared it was A after seeing a floral jacket so left.

"Why'd you run?" Hannah asks.

"I thought it might've been A, but now I'm not to sure." Ali tells us.

"So you don't know if it was a man or a woman?" Aria asks.

"Or a squirrel." Spencer jumps in. She has a point, it might not be anything and looking for something that could've been an animal would be a waste of time. Plus what are the chances they saw Ali, especially if Ali didn't see them?

"I saw the jacket and... maybe someone was sleeping in there." Ali suggests.

"Look Ali, maybe if we went back there-"

Emily starts but there's a beeping sound and they're both gone.

"What happened?" Emily asks as I lean back on the sofa and cover my face with my hands.

"Their times up." Spencer tells us.

"Hey." I answer Logan's call and close my assignment.

"Hey so A left a tongue on the front porch for Mike." Logan says and I immediately jump up at that.
