0521- Bloody Hell

"You're with us." Emily links arms with me and leads me down to Hannah's locker.

Emily let's go of me next to Hannah.

"Where the hell were you two?" Spencer looks between the both of us.

"The conversation I need to have with Ali shouldn't involve anyone but me and her. This runs deeper than the whole A and Mona situation. It wouldn't be productive for me to go." I tell them. They look from me to Hannah.

"What do you mean?" Aria asks.

"There's a lot we've got to talk about. There was a reason I wasn't around when she just came back." I tell her.

"I chickened out. I couldn't go back there. Not after calling her a liar and a murderer to her face." Hannah speaks up.

"She is a liar." Spencer rolls her eyes.

"Up until yesterday we all thought she was a murderer too." Emily says.

"Well, you guys didn't make a personal appearance to cut her open, pour salt in the wound and then exfoliate it." Hannah sighs. "Was she upset?"

"I don't know both of your absences kind of took a second position to the bomb we had to drop about Mona." Spencer admits.

"After we left, Ali was still pretty much in a state of shock." Emily tells us.

"Which apparently is contagious. What's going on?" Spencer focuses on Aria.

"I'm fine." Aria says.

"Is this about your brother?" Emily asks.

"Look, if we don't figure out who A is before Ali's trial starts..."

"She's going to feed Mike to her defence team." Spencer reads Arias mind.

"Can they make him take the stand?" Emily asks.

"Yeah." Spencer's eyes widen. "He'll be a hostile witness."

"No you guys, it's not about him getting in trouble with the law. Once Mike becomes Ali's get out of jail free card, he also becomes A's number one target." Aria points out to us.

"Hey, what's going on?" I ask once Spencer lets me in.

"The girls are upstairs." She tells me as we head for the stairs.

"Okay what's going on?" I ask her.

"I'm leaving tonight, for London. I've got an interview at Oxford." She tells me as we head up the stairs.

I gasp so loud.

"You can't go right now." I tell her.

"Believe me, I wish that I didn't have to." She tells me.

I get in her room and sit in the only available place which is her rocking chair.

Aria and Emily are sat at the end of Spencer's bed and there's clothes all over the place whilst Hannah paces.

"Spencer you cannot leave now! We just found out that Ali isn't A and we still don't know who's trying to turn us into a chain gang." Hannah exclaims as Spencer resumes her packing.

"Well what am I supposed to do, Hannah?" Spencer asks.

"Miss your flight!" Hannah tells her.

"Please." Spencer laughs sarcastically. "Do not think that my mom won't be waiting in duty free just to make sure I catch the next one."

"What did Toby say about this?" Emily asks.

"I don't know. I didn't tell Toby. The only way to get his attention these days is over a police scanner." She complains.
