0613-The Gloves Are On

The four of us are lying down with cucumbers over our eyes whilst relaxing in the spa at the Radley, by the four of us I mean me, Emily, Hannah and Spencer. Aria was supposed to join us, but hasn't.

"I've never had a salt rub. Does it hurt?" Emily questions.

"Can't be worse than a sugar wax." Hannah offers.

"Why didn't she meet us here?" Spencer questions.

"Spencer, let it go." Hannah sighs.

I try to let it go and take in a deep breath.

"Why lie? Why not just say that she snuck out to go meet Ezra?" Spencer questions.

"She's got a boyfriend in Cambridge." Emily says.

I haven't met Liam yet.

"Oh please, this is about so much more than that. If we never told her about that tape she wouldn't-"

"This is so not relaxing." Hannah cuts Spencer off.

"Yeah guys can we just relax, I have a few hours free for this before I have to start back at work." I tell them.

I like my job, I like the people I work with and I like that I get to work with Logan. I also get to do something that makes Logan proud.

"Guys, the police didn't ask us to stick around to exfoliate. There will be questions." Spencer tells us.

"Aria doesn't know where Ezra went after she left him." Emily tells her.

"Yeah but she knows that he was in a dark place." Spencer says.

"Just cos you're depressed doesn't mean you pick up a weapon." Emily adds.

"Okay, you guys, my mom gave us these passes as a gift. We're here to chill. Not spill." Hannah speaks up.

"It's just so twisted. She hasn't even spoken to Fitz in like five years and now if he did this for her, they're going to be bound together forever." Spencer continues.

"He was there during the time, he had first hand experience of what happened. Everyone close to us probably would've taken a wack at Charlotte last night regardless of when we last saw them." I tell them.

"It doesn't matter anyway, the tape is gone." Hannah says.

What?

I hear movement and I take a cucumber off of one of my eyes to look up and see Emily and Spencer have sat up.

"What? You erased it? When?" Emily questions.

"Doesn't matter. It's done." Hannah tells them.

My eyebrows raise as I look from Hannah still lying down to the girls who are sat up.

"What do you guys think this room was before they turned the nut house into a spa?" Hannah questions.

That is a poor choice of words.

"Why?" Emily questions,

"The Sauna smelled like burned hair." Hannah says and my eyes widen and I stand up.

I am officially creeped out.

"Wait, what are you guys doing?" Hannah asks

"I'm going to go get dressed. I have to meet Melissa. We have a meeting with my mom's campaign team." Spencer tells us.

"Yeah I think I want to go too." Emily admits.

"I'm creeped out." I admit.

"We can't just leave! We have appointments. You can't do this." She tells us and follows us back to the changing rooms.
