Jenny and Dean shared a confused look with one another and looked back at Sam, who was grinning down at the girl.
"Sam? Oh my god!" Meh shit up from her seat, embracing the tall Winchester. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm just in town, visiting friends." He answered, the woman smiled.
"Where are they?" Meg asked, looking around. Dean and Jenny walked up behind Sam, standing close behind him.
"Well, they're not here right now, but what about you, Meg? I thought you were goin' to California?"
"Oh, I did. I came, I saw, I conquered. Oh, and I met what's-his-name, something Michael Murray at a bar." Meg snapped her fingers in thought, still smiling.
"Who?"
"Oh, it doesn't matter. Anyway, the whole scene got old, so I'm living here for a while." Dean cleared his throat, looking at Sam and Meg.
"You're from Chicago?"
"No, Massachusetts—Andover. Gosh, Sam, what are the odds we'd run into each other?" Jenny hummed at the thought, looking to Dean.
"Yeah, I know, I thought I'd never see you again." Sam chuckled as Meg grinned in amusement. Jenny kept glancing to her suspiciously, eyeing the blonde slowly.
"Well, I'm glad you were wrong." Dean cleared his throat again, louder this time. "Dude, cover your mouth." Meg snapped, looking at the older Winchester.
Sam looked behind him to Dean and Jenny. "Yeah, um, I'm sorry, Meg. This is, uh—this is my brother, Dean. And Jenny."
"This is Dean... And Jenny?" Sam nodded, gesturing to the two behind them.
"Only my friends call me Jenny." She spoke up, stuffing her hands in the pockets of her overalls. Jenny stepped slightly back from Meg as the hairs on the back of her neck rose, glancing to Dean. Meg raised her hands in defense as Dean smirked.
"So, you've heard of us?" He looked to his brother, who rolled his eyes.
"Oh, yeah. I've heard of you two." Meg turned to Dean. "Nice— the way you treat your brother like luggage." Meg gave him a deadpanned expression, looking him up and down in disgust. She turned to Jenny, who was silently expecting the same treatment. "You seem to be better. For now."
"Sorry?" Dean asked in confusion, looking at Jenny, who looked to Sam, then back to Meg.
"Why don't you let him do what he wants to do? Stop dragging him over God's green earth." Jenny's eyes widened in shock, looking between Meg and Dean.
"Meg, it's all right." The four looked around awkwardly, Dean whistling lowly.
"Okay, awkward. Me and Jen gonna get a drink now." Dean and Jenny spun on their heels and walked back to their table. Jenny waved down a bartender, looking back to Sam and Meg, glaring softly. "What?" Dean frowned, Jenny shaking her head.
