Chapter 13

Dae left the building where she has her psychology office since it was midday and after all the appointments she had today with her clients she definitely needed a break.

"In the end I will become the most stressed out of them all" She murmured to herself as she stopped at the entrance of the building looking in her purse for her wallet which she had apparently forgotten on her desk.

"The psychologist needs a psychologist it seems." A voice was heard behind her that caught her attention and as soon as she turned around she was confronted by Taehyung who gave her a smile after his words.

"So you even started talking to yourself?" He asked her jokingly and Dae giggled lightly before she spoke to him.

"What can I do, it happens sometimes, everything is part of life . How come you are here, though?" Taehyung let his expression change to a more serious one after her awaited question.

"The truth is that I need your help as a psychologist on a subject." He lied to her as this was basically the way he had thought to approach her and from now on have a reason to meet her privately as often as he wanted without looking suspicious.

"Of course, I will be happy to help but now I was going to get something to eat." Dae replied with a smile, although before doing so she would have to go upstairs again to get her wallet.

"Let's go together, we can discuss it on our way if you don't mind" Taehyung offered her, making Dae slightly hesitant, but ultimately she found nothing wrong with it.

"Yes, that's okay with me but I forgot my wallet, so if you don't mind, wait for me for a moment." She told him and turned to go inside but Taehyung's hand that grabbed her by the wrist halted her movements.

"It's my treat,no need to stress yourself. Just come along because my time, unlike yours, is tight." He reminded her for recess at school was short and he had the luxury of not having class immediately after but he sure had driven a long way already to come to meet her and didn't want to get late.

"Emm .. Okay then. I guess I'll repay you later." Dae agreed and the two of them started walking on the sidewalk until a car passed by quickly scaring Dae who was on the side of the road.

Taehyung quickly wrapped his arms around her shoulders and changed positions with her to keep her safe and then smiled sweetly at her as she thanked him in a whisper tone, still a little startled by the incident.

"Oh no dude! You're cheating!" You shouted at the young boy you had met the other day in the elevator, whom you had misunderstood and disliked yesterday but now you had changed your mind as he had been appointed your supervisor and you two had started playing cards together in the office since at break time.

"I'm not cheating, you just suck at playing cards" The young man named Shin replied and then laughed wholeheartedly enjoying your attitude. All these years he has been working, he hadn't met such a carefree person. It sure was a delight.

"Well I may not be good but that doesn't mean that I can't learn. Let's go for a second round." You urged him as your hands had already started shuffling the deck for the new around.

"The break will end in two minutes, we won't be able to finish a game," He told you, for he was placed as your supervisor and was responsible to keep you informed and help you to adapt to the new environment. He was supposed to be the one holding you on track yet you had proved to be someone that had swayed even him out of his working routine.

"We will be fast, it will take two minutes only." You insisted as you wanted to beat him at least in one game. It was just a matter of pride, and you had lost three whole rounds to him.
