One night's mistake

The freezing air that was blowing had wrapped her body in a veil of chills as she kept walking alone at the side of the road, with hopes of reaching home safe and sound. Her hands took hold of her long coat subtly and closed it a bit more, her breath appearing misty as her eyes kept looking around for she was feeling a bit alert over the reminder that she was a woman outside in the middle of the night.

Why had she even decided to walk at this late hour when she was aware that no public transportation was functional? Why had the need for some fresh air, overwhelmed her to the point of ignoring the cold and risking getting sick on the day before her wedding. She regretted her sudden decision that came from her need for some peace.

She basically shouldn't have even been alone on the streets at such an hour. She should have been at the bachelor party that her friends prepared for her instead and from which she sneaked away because although she appreciated their actions and was aware of their good intentions, Seon did not like parties at all.

And as such she had endured for as long as she could managing to stay around for a few hours until she reached her limit and without falling to anyone's notice, as soon as she found the opportunity, she sneaked out of the place they had rented out for her.

Swimming in her thoughts of her upcoming big day as she was, Seon continued walking on the sidewalk till some lights suddenly fell on her, illuminating the dark street and the figure of her body.

She shuddered when the unknown car instead of passing by her and continuing on its way, halted in place instead, at a distance slightly ahead of her, making her immediately turn the other way, to avoid whatever danger that could be luring her. Her steps speed up as fear crept inside her for she could not know what could happen and sure she didn't want to risk anything, especially at three o'clock at dawn as such was the time.

As she took a few quick steps away from the stopped car, however, a voice called her name, bringing her feet to an instant halt.

"Seon !! Seon isn't that you?!" The man's voice asked as he stepped out of his car and with a light jog decided to approach her.

Seon turned reluctantly to face him, an action that made the man's uncertain facial expression wash off his face, as he got reassured that he was not mistaken and that it was indeed his brother's girlfriend, who was walking alone in the darkness of the night.

"What are you doing on the streets alone at this hour, Seon? You know that it's dangerous to walk around alone, right?" Jimin portrayed his worry as he spoke, his eyes looking around instinctively just to reassure himself that she had not been in any potential danger. At this late hour, anything could have happened after all and if he had not accidentally crossed paths with her, on his way home, who knows how this could have ended.

"Em... I was just going home. The girls were still busy and I just got bored and left earlier." She replied as she gifted him an awkward smile, for she got slightly embarrassed admitting that she ditched her party.

These two are the same. They don't know how to have fun. Lame.

Jimin thought to himself since his brother had done the same thing as his future wife Seon. Jungkook had disappeared from the party out of nowhere and because of that, they had to break it off sooner than planned, because what is a bachelor party without the groom there?

He sure had found the conclusion of it a shame however for him and his best friend Taehyung had organized this party and had booked dancers and a special strip tease for the groom which he missed out on, unfortunately.
