Chapter 47

Taehyung helped Jimin lean against the pillow that he had placed behind him as he and Seon had brought him home and he was helping him take his seat on the bed.

"I am sorry that I can't stay longer, I promise I will visit you tomorrow as soon as I can," Taehyung told him since he had explained things to him along the way that he had to leave right after because he had a teachers meeting to attend.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. I have Seon here if I need anything." Jimin reassured him with a smile and Taehyung tapped him on the shoulder before walking out of the room.

"Seon, I'm leaving. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call me." Taehyung told Seon, whom he found in the living room, touching the place up a bit and she just gave him a nod, as she continued looking busy, pretending that nothing was going on.

She soon heard the front door open and close as Taehyung left and at that moment she froze, feeling in danger in this space.

She was alone with him and would be like that for a while until he got a little better and the idea of ​​it had started to take a toll on her emotions.

At first, she hadn't thought much about it, she only thought that she had to behave humanely and help him, but now she wants to run away for some reason and Jimin hadn't even done anything yet.

Seon shook her head, throwing aside every thought she had and began to clean up the place better before she ended up in the kitchen trying to cook, using every chore she could think about as an excuse to avoid going to Jimin's room. As if he wasn't there, as if she were alone in that apartment.

But she was there to help him and when after a while, Jimin's voice was heard calling her, she had no choice but to go and see what he wanted.

"What is it?" She asked as she opened the door and stood in the doorway.

"Help me get up and go to the bathroom. I tried to do it myself but ... I'm in pain." Jimin confessed to her, his facial expression displaying discomfort and pain. 

Seon looked at him for a moment and felt a little sorry for him for she had gotten to know the fact that he had two broken ribs, which sure was news that had shocked her when Taehyung had told her on their ride from the hospital.  

She had never imagined that Jungkook could become so violent, the Jungkook that she knew couldn't even get annoyed much more to get mad enough to hit someone and break their ribs.  

Her mind couldn't grasp it as a thought and the truth was that from that moment she had nothing else in her mind but doubts about how well she really knew her husband.

"You didn't even have to try on your own. You could have fallen and gotten worse!" She scolded him as she approached him and he just gave her a small smile that disappeared in seconds, as a few bitter words left his lips.

"I don't want to force you to touch me, I know you want to stay away from me." Jimin looked her in the eyes as he said these words, making her heartbeat rise. This dishonourable heart of hers that in front of him always betrays her and beats for him in a way that she can neither control nor stop.

"Of course, I want to stay away from you. You are destroying me." She replied, her words not intended to hurt him but only to express the truth.

He was destroying her. Every viewpoint she ever had, everything she was against and never expected that she would do like infidelity or lies. She had stepped over so many beliefs of hers for him and in this way, she was being destroyed.

"Seon, believe me, I'm not a jerk who just used you to satisfy my physical needs, I know, I'm sure you think so for me, but I ..." Jimin began to explain, his heart longing for her to believe him because the only mistake he made done was to fall in love with her.
