You sighed wearily as you reached the door of your apartment and let your head come in contact with the door, briefly before you pulled back and inhaled a deep breath then proceeded to unlock the door and enter.
Once inside you kicked the door close behind you, for your hands were occupied with bags as on your way home you had done some shopping at the supermarket, knowing that Jimin wouldn't be home tonight because he had the shift that left him to sleep in Tokyo and would be back tomorrow morning. With that in mind, you had bought things to cook food for him and leave it ready for when he returns, because you will most likely be at work by that time.
You entered the living room absorbed in your own thoughts, only for a figure to rise abruptly from the couch, startling the heck out of you, as you literally jumped back a step or two with your breath cut sharply.
"Dear lord~ Why do you appear like that!? I almost brought the bags on your head !!" You shouted at Jimin who to your surprise was not where you thought he would be.
"Sorry. Did I scare you?" He asked as he approached you anxiously, for he didn't have any intention to prank you. All he was, was a leaving mess who had gotten lost in his own thought and fears of facing you until the sound of the door had reached his ears, signalling him that the moment he was wishing to avoid, had reached him.
"What the hell are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Tokyo?" You raised an eyebrow at him before you turned around to walk towards the kitchen and leave the bags there.
"A colleague needed leave for tomorrow and we changed shifts." He explained to you as he followed reluctantly behind you.
"Oh is that so. Okay then."
A silence fell between you after that reply of yours, leaving only the sound from your bags to be heard as you started taking things out and placing them in their respective places on the shelves and others in the fridge.
"Jimin? You look a bit pale to me. You alright?" As your gaze fell on him once or twice, you happened to notice the colour complexion of his face seemed different than usual.
"Eh?! Ah! It's because of tiredness and after the allergic shock I had earlier, my energy dropped a bit." He replied as casually as he could possibly make himself sound while he proceeded to avoid looking in your eyes, as what dried up his energy was not only the allergy but also an activity he did afterwards.
"Allergic shock!! Oh My, what happened ?!" You anxiously ran to him, cupping his face in your hands while you scanned him up and down worriedly.
"Don't worry. It's over now. I'm fine." Jimin tried to reassure you, a smile faltering on his lips as inwardly he felt like rubbish. Only if he could admit how much he didn't deserve your concern, especially after what he had done some hours ago.
"What are you even saying? Come on, do not stand up. Quickly take a seat." You grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to the couch where he sat without any objections, for his tongue felt like it had gotten tied in a knot under the display of your care for him.
"Sit here and don't move. I will bring you a blanket and I will go and make you a soup that will give you energy." You ran to the room to do what you told him and he just put his face between his hands, sighing heavily.
How do you tell her now if she behaves like that?
He thought as he had decided to tell you that he had cheated on you, naturally leaving aside the detail of with whom he had cheated on you, for he wouldn't want to be responsible for breaking your lifelong friendship with Seon.
You didn't take long to return with the blanket in your hands and he laid down as you approached, making it easier for you to cover him and smiled at him, stroking his hair a little before returning to go to the kitchen to cook for him.
