Chapter 41

Seon, You, Ari and Yoongi left the room and took a few steps away from the door before starting your conversation.

"Why does he think you are his wife? What did you tell him?" Ari addressed you, clearly disturbed by the stuff that have been unfolding before her eyes.

"I swear I didn't say anything! I was trying to explain to him." You replied defensively as you certainly weren't fond of the idea of him thinking of you as his wife, either. 

"You can't do that. The doctor clearly said we should go with his waters. His condition is not something we can joke around and it would be difficult for him to trust us if we keep changing our words. The doctor clearly said we shouldn't give him any big shocks so whatever he says it becomes what it is. Got it! " Yoongi strictly forbade, having no thoughts of playing with his friend's health, nor of allowing anyone else to do so. They should and will all obey the doctor's advice.

Silence fell between them for a moment before Seon spoke.

"I agree with Yoongi, we should not play with his health. Just be patient and go with his waters until he remembers." Seon's words found you somewhat unprepared because from all people you certainly did not expect her to agree to such a thing.

"Seon, are you listening to what you are saying? The guy thinks I'm his wife, and we all know I can't play that role, for obvious reasons." You looked at Ari and Seon as you said those words, letting it imply what you meant.

The two of them knew very well how you were with physical contact and as his wife, you would be required to at least hold his hand or even a hug. And weren't sure you could tolerate that.

"Let's not panic, you may not even have to move in with him. He may remember before he leaves the hospital." Ari tried to lighten the atmosphere it was in vain, as the anxious look on your face and Seon didn't change.  

"Let's go to Jimin. I think this mess is something we should all talk about together." Yoongi suggested and he started walking towards the room he was put in, without waiting for a reply, for he was not willing to keep any information from anyone anymore, for you were seeing the results of that.

"There is no other choice. I wouldn't  want his situation to get worse for any reason." Jimin said as soon as he heard everything his friends explained to him.

Everyone was now gathered in his room, their concern for his condition was evident in everyone's faces as his face was now covered in bruises and bandages, an evident blue eye on the right side of his face and his ribs all wrapped in white gauze. 

You were the one who was holding his hand for the moment after you had fixed his pillow, his gaze involuntarily going to Seon who avoided his gaze purely embarrassed in his presence but also obviously worried about his state of health.

"But Jimin, if I go and deal with Jungkook as you all say, who will take care of you? You are a mess, you know." You argued, not wanting to leave him alone in such a condition.

"The doctor said that Jungkook has no reason to be detained anymore, so he will leave tomorrow or even today if we want, but Jimin has to stay for another two or three days," Taehyung explained as he was there when the doctor explained Jimin's condition and the two broken ribs he had not spoken about to the others yet.

"We will take care of Jimin in shifts and when they take him home as well or maybe- .." Yoongi paused before he brought his eyes to Seon

"Seon will have nowhere to stay after Jungkook goes home, she is no longer his wife so she could stay with Jimin until he recovers."

Silence fell for a few minutes as Seon wondered what to do. She had her apartment empty and waiting for her, it was not that she was without a place to live but the truth was that although she didn't remember much, she felt responsible for this situation and her consciousness was urging her to give a helping hand to Jimin as a human to a human.  

"There's no need to, I will be okay on my own. You don't have to think about me" Jimin tried to reassure them, not wanting to put Seon in a difficult place or pressure her to do anything she didn't want to.

If she didn't want to be near him then he would not force her to stay. It's not right and it's also not what he wanted. Because what he wanted is for her to love him of her own free will, everything else was useless, everything else was nothing.

"I will. I will take care of Jimin. It is the least I can do in this mess." Seon agreed, catching Jimin unprepared and his surprise was displayed clearly on his facial expression.

"Fine, since we solved that now let's think about what we will say to the police about the incident," Dae reminded them about one more worry they had over their heads, for the hospital had informed the police after seeing Jimin beaten up like that.

"Yes, the case was reported.  I will handle it, I will say that it was a bulgar attempt and Jimin resisted, Jungkook had happened to be visiting at that moment, saw the scene tried to defend his brother but ultimate was knocked out unconscious. And then you, Y/n,  came home and you found them and called an ambulance. "Yoongi quickly gave a version of a story he put together, putting into practice his keen mind and experience as a lawyer.

"It would be better if we talk things now so we all give the same version to them if questioned and you Seon, you need to go back to the nurses to do some checkups." He added as Dae had told him in what condition they had found her and how she wasn't waking up.  A thing that had put Yoongi in thoughts which he wanted to reassure.

As Ari, Dae and Seon left the room following his words, Taehyung looked at them anxiously thinking about the result of those checkups which he wished to not find in them what he had been thinking about. 

After that, he just sat there, listening to Yoongi guiding you and Jimin, as he himself was getting lost in his own thoughts and worries.

He kept growing anxious and upset because of what he was thinking was truly the case and Jungkook still had those experimental pills, now that the police will want to examine the scene of the supposed burglary attempt they may find them, and that wouldn't be good for his friend's sake. 

"Guys," he called, drawing the other's attention.

"Since Y/N is going home with Jungkook, wouldn't it be better for someone to go and fix the place first? Take off wedding pictures, exchange your clothes with Seon's  and such." Taehyung explained, using these logical thoughts for his own purpose.

"Sure, that's a great Idea. have Jungkook's keys, and our apartments, I got them both here" You grabbed your bag and looked for them as you had kept everything they had found on Jungkook and Jimin for the medical stuff had handed them to you. 

Once you found them you placed them in Taehyung's hand and he didn't hesitate to take his leave, leaving you all to deal with the rest while he was thinking of finding those damn pills before anyone else gets the chance to.
