Jungkook had returned to his office after leaving the hospital and had done everything to focus on work and only work.

He had no intention of leaving himself idle for a minute and of course, he had no intention of going home tonight because he simply did not want to be alone. He did not trust himself enough to be out of the eyes of the world, in a place all alone with his thoughts. It was just scary to himself, what he could do to himself, with the awful thoughts he had in the back of his mind.

Thoughts of despair. An end to a love that for him was all his life.

"Don't we have any more files that I have to sign?" He asked his secretary who was with him in his office,  informing him about what had happened during those days he was away as well as how the case went with the representative from London, who had ended up meeting the managing director of the company, which is Kim SeokJin, it had been handled correctly by him and the representative had appeared positive to work with Jungkook's company.

"No sir, we don't."

"Call the chief executive then. He should inform me of their discussion himself." Jungkook spoke coldly and his secretary immediately left to do as he asked of him, leaving him alone.

And for some reason, once he was alone in his office, the place started feeling as if it was narrowing on him. He got up from his seat and began pacing as his hands rubbed each other uncomfortably, his thoughts yelling at himself not to think as his breaths were starting to become difficult, resulting in him relaxing a bit his tie and taking in some deep breaths.

Luckily for him, Jin entered the office shortly and he let out a sigh of relief, before putting on his serious business face again.

"I'm glad you're back at work but are you okay? You look a bit pale." Jin's delight turned quickly to a worrisome expression as soon as he faced him for now he could take a better look at him as he was standing two steps away from him.

The two of them had quite a friendly relationship, considering that Jin was the chief executive of the company and came from a wealthy family. The two families have been working together for years and for that reason, even as children, Jungkook, Jimin and Jin had been in each other's company often.

"Don't worry Hyung. I'm doing what I think is best for me." Jungkook answered him, without a smile or the slightest hint of joy to see him even though Jin rarely left his office to wander around. He didn't like being among people unless necessary.

"Fine then. If you say so." Jin replied, putting on his professional persona as well.

He took his place in the chair as Jungkook again sat at his and he began to explain to him everything that happened in his meeting with Luke. He explained to him that he had offered him the proposal he had prepared, as Jungkook's secretary had informed him, and the company representative had agreed to forward this proposal to his company president.

"So he looked positive on it?" Jungkook asked to clarify.

"Only positive? The gentleman made it clear that he intends to work with us, regardless of our proposal." Jin replied, his words catching Jungkook off guard as such a thing sounded strange and suspicious. For what reason would someone, in the professional field, cooperate with someone, if there was no benefit?

"I know I was confused too so I asked him why he is so determined and guess what he said." Jin smiled as he remembered the answer.

"Just tell me, don't waste my time," Jungkook answered him, not intending to play games.

"He said that just because a girl he's really interested in, works at our company, he's going to stick around to get close to her. Funny right? Not professional at all but who cares, we benefit from it" Jin chuckled as Jungkook was silent for a moment, those words still sounding strange in his mind.
