Chapter 20

You had just entered your house after Jungkook had driven you off with his car because he considered the hour already too late to let you go alone.

On your way there you hadn't exchanged words as you were immersed in your thoughts about whether what you had thought to do was the right thing to do.

A breath escaped your lips before you left your body crashed on the couch and closed your eyes, memories of your good old days with your friend Seon instantly came to mind like a strong wind that shook your insides.

You had been through so much together and you trusted her more than anything else because she had just gained your trust until today that she broke it into a hundred pieces.

What changed? When did it change? For how long was everyone playing with you? How long has this been going on behind your back and all your so-called friends were covering it?

All these questions kept hurting you more and more, loneliness sinking in your heart, accompanying the resentment that had settled within you.

If she had any feelings for your boyfriend, you would have preferred it for her to have told you instead of lying like this, and of course, you would have also preferred it if she wouldn't have gone and slept with him behind your back.

"And all those words he said..."It's not your fault. I won't leave you... Everything is okay between us... I will wait." All were nothing but lies! "

You exclaimed as a few tears began to flow from your closed eyes, making you place your arms around your head to hide, even though you were alone at home and there was no way anyone could see you at this weak moment.

I knew I was not enough...I knew we would fail eventually...I know it's difficult to love me and be with me but why did it have to be with my best friend? There are so many other women. Why her? I am aware you could have betrayed me eventually but why did you have to take her with you? All I have so far are my friends. Why did you prove me wrong like this?

Your tears kept flowing at these thoughts that were leaving you with the harsh reality that you couldn't be loved. You were alone, no matter how much you cared or loved anyone, you would always be left alone.

You spent a few minutes venting out until your face had turned red and your nose felt stuffed and needed to be cleaned so you lifted your body off the couch and headed to the bathroom where you proceeded to wash up with plenty of water before letting your eyes meet the sad-looking reflection with bright red eyes that were looking back at you.

The girl who was looking at you seemed exhausted, like a ghost of sorrow that instantly made you feel annoyed with your own self for you had allowed them to bring you to this state.

The crazy idea that had gone through your mind at that moment with Jungkook on the roof, returned to your mind, now pushing you a little more to do really go through with it.

Yet the problem was that it was impossible for you to seduce Jungkook because you didn't even see him that way, the little one as you called him, was not even on the list of males in general for you, to not mention that he was madly in love with Seon and there was no way she could make him waver.

But even though you knew all this, you s couldn't get this idea out of your head as it was the best revenge you could possibly get on both of them since Jungkook was not only Seon's husband but also Jimin's brother and if you were to manage to get to him, it would definitely be a big blow to Jimin's ego and fair trade for Seon's actions towards you.

And all these were just some of the problems you had but the most important issue was yourself. How were you to pretend as if you know nothing and how the hell were you going to get closer to Jungkook when it was practically impossible because you hated any close contact and disliked silly flirting too. You definitely weren't the right person to seduce anyone.

"No! You will do it! I don't care how much you have to get out of yourself! You will do it!" You yelled at your reflection, now having made the decision to reach the end of this no matter what.

--- Time skip ---

Dae was still sleeping in her bed as Yoongi was buttoning the last button of his cardigan, ready for work.

He approached her and left a small kiss on her forehead before leaving the room and grabbing his briefcase and keys as well as putting on his shoes before leaving his apartment.

It certainly was still too early for him to head to work but he had left early because he had other plans that he couldn't tell her about. He was heading for Taehyung's house knowing that Ari would have slept there as she does every time Dae sleeps over in his own house.

Knowing his friend's schedule, he also knew that Taehyung would leave early today for work and so he had decided to take advantage of it.

The drive to Taehyung's apartment building took him less than usual since the roads weren't packed yet and he found a parking spot at a safe distance and waited for Taehyung to show up as he did, getting in his car and leaving for work.

After his car disappeared from view, Yoongi got out of his car and headed to the entrance of the apartment building, where he took the elevator and pressed the button on the floor where Taehyung's apartment was located.

He took a deep breath before ringing the bell and heard a few steps running to open it, making him smile at the fact that he was actually right and Ari was indeed inside.

"What did you forget dear-" Ari's words were cut as soon as she saw that at the door was not her boyfriend who she guessed that could have forgotten something.

"Good morning" Yoongi greeted her with a smile on his lips, looking at her surprised face that certainly did not expect him to appear at her door.

"Can I get in?" He questioned, taking her out of her momentary brain freeze and back to reality.

"Oh?Yeah...sure" She stepped aside welcoming him, unaware of the fact that she had let future trouble walk right through in her life.
