With a smile on your face, you served the dishes at the table while the two brothers had already taken their seats.

You were looking forward to Jimin trying his own dish as you had left a little surprise for him when Seon wasn't paying much attention to you.

"Let's enjoy ." You urged them as you took your seat next to Seon, having Jimin right across you.

He took a big bite, seeing in front of him the roasted chicken that was one of his favourites but he regretted it immediately, as his mouth felt sour in seconds, and he simply stopped chewing.

You gifted him a wicked smile, not wanting to hide from him that you were the reason his own dish was so sour.

"What's wrong, my love? Did anything got stuck in your throat?" You asked him and he swallowed the food, now with tears in his eyes.

"Hmmm! No, I am okay" Jimin cleared his throat before answering, not wanting to say anything in front of his brother and Seon, but the truth was that part of him knew he deserved this. He had imagined that at some point you would take your revenge on him for the way he behaved with you in the car, but he didn't think it would come this soon.

"If you are okay, continue eating your food then. It is rude not to eat. Seon worked so hard to prepare it." Your eyes were fixed on him, stating clearly that you had no intention of feeling sorry for him.

He left his head to lean low, as he reluctantly placed a small portion in his mouth and started simply playing with the food on his plate, choosing side potatoes and salad, anything but that chicken again.

Your dinner went on well in general lines but you were boiling inside every minute and more.

You had come here today to find out why Seon had treated you this way but she didn't seem willing to say anything to you, however, if she didn't intend to say anything, then you would say it instead. You just couldn't keep this in any longer.

"Seon, since I'm here, can't you come to show me the progress of your book? Let me see how far you have come." You uttered those words, interrupting the discussion about a movie that had recently been released in cinemas that were going on.

"Eh !? Now? But now we are eating still." Seon replied a bit confused but you just got up and left the table knowing full well that she would follow you and so she did, as your behaviour wasn't normal.

"Y/N, what's going on? Is something wrong ?" Seon questioned you as soon as she entered her office where you were waiting for her.

"You tell me. Is there anything that you think I should know about?" Seon could clearly understand why you looked so charged or to better say, she didn't want to understand.

The truth was that in the kitchen before you had seemed strange but she didn't want to say something because it may simply not be what she was thinking about and she could end up burning herself by bringing it up on her own.

"I don't understand you. I don't think there is anything you need to know. At least not from me." She answered you calmly even though only calm that she wasn't inside, her words making you laugh at how annoyingly frustrating this was.

"Oh is that so, sleeping with my boyfriend is not something I should know." Seon froze in place while those words escaped your lips, as it was ultimately what she feared.

"W-What ?! What are you talking about? Such a thing has not happened!" For some reason, she didn't even know her first instinct was to deny everything.

"Seon, cut the crap with me because I know you, damn it! I know everything! And right this moment I  am talking to a specific friend who won't have that title after today. Why did you have to lie to me till the last freaking moment!" Your outburst showcased your pure irritation, although the anger you were showing her was just a veil to cover the pain that her betrayal had caused you.

Silence fell in the room for a few minutes, before Seon simply fell to her knees, catching you unprepared, as it was such acts that Seon had never done before you.

"Sorry. Sorry. I am so sorry. I am terribly sorry. I ruined everything. I'm to blame for everything. And I don't even know how it happened. I swear on what I have dear and I didn't want to hurt you I swear I did not want to." Tears were now flowing from her eyes as her regrets had been eating her soul for so long.

"Really why are you doing this now? Why do you have to be like this?! Why can't you just tell me you did it for fun or something so I can hate you and get angry freely!" You also knelt in front of her, your heart tearing apart, facing a person you cared for and loved being in this state before your eyes.

Seon simply wrapped her arms around you and held you in her arms, squeezing you as tightly as she could for sharing felt that if she was to let you go, she would lose you.

You were childhood friends. You had spent so much together. You had stood up to each other, you had lifted each other up every time your lives had made you fall. And that was the reason why Seon hated herself so much for this situation.

Because of all the people she knew, you were the only one who didn't deserve this to happen to you, or at least she didn't want to be the person who would get you through any kind of pain, especially one as bitter as a betrayal.

She knew very well how difficult it was for you to develop a romantic relationship because of your problem, which she herself wasn't aware what had caused it to you, although she had a small idea but knew that you wouldn't want to discuss ever again about that night.

She knew it all, and she knew that in order for you to be with Jimin, you must have seen something in him, and you must have trusted him, yet she had broken that for you in the worst way.

Seon's eyes grew wide in fear as soon as she felt your hands, pulling her away from you, to soon come face to face with your cold gaze.

"It's not enough. An apology is not enough." You let her know as you stared into her eyes for no matter how much you hated the fact, a resentment had settled in your heart.

"I know," Seon murmured as she proceeded to dry her wet cheeks and break eye contact with you.

"Anyway, I won't interfere in your life. No word will go out from me. I promise you that." Your words caught her unprepared and Seon looked at you as she stood up, making you follow her example.

"Of course, I demand that this situation doesn't continue. You can not have them both." Your words came so cold that made her feel a chill running down her spine.

She knew you well and there was no way you would have behaved so calmly in such a situation. It was just impossible.

"You don't even want to know why it happened? What happened, how it happened?... You have already condemned me, haven't you? And you told me that you knew only to make me. To make it clear that you have me in your hands! That I am at your mercy" Seon spoke her realization as her eyes searched your dumbfounded and shocked because she had never in her life experienced how it felt to be on your bad side.

"I always liked to have the upper hand in things. Why are you so surprised?" You gave her a smile that seemed almost devilish to her, bringing shivers all over her body.

Your bad side was something she had known and she had witnessed. A thing that had made her always consider herself lucky for she didn't belong there but now she had awoken that side of you for good.

"What do you intend to do ?!" She asked you as she left her eyes growing hostile on you because she knew now, she was no longer facing a friend but one who seemed ready to become her worst nightmare.

"Don't you think we should make things fair between us? You stub me once, and I stub you back, you sleep with my boyfriend, I shall sleep with yours" That was all you replied before approaching her a little and shoving your shoulder on purpose against her as you passed her by and exited the room.

A decision that you had been pondering over but after tonight there was no denying. The pain inside you and your ego couldn't be soothed without tearing a bit of them both as a token. No matter what kind of person was that to make you, it was a fact.

What you were burning for wasn't forgiveness. It was equality.
