Chapter 60

Taehyung and Ari were eating dinner in a silence that wasn't usual for them as each was thinking about something concerning the other but neither of them was speaking.

Ari was thinking about all the recent events, for surely with the mess of her friends Seon and Y/N, she had gotten carried away but she hadn't forgotten the suspicions she had about Taehyung before all these events happened and distracted her.

It seems that the events did not only distract her attention but also Taehyung, and Yoongi, with whom she had a small phone call in the morning just to see what he was doing and her friend Dae with whom she lived together, even though lately they both used to sleep in their boys' apartments, more than their own.

She and Dae had a lot of discussions about Seon and both had their own question marks as Taehyung and Yoongi had theirs as to why Jungkook had started a fight with Jimin.

Of course, the two of them had kept their mouths shut although in the back of their minds they knew it would be good to talk and collaborate together to solve this. However, Ari knew that if they were to talk to someone it had to be You and Seon first. And maybe you more than Seon for you sure would have a lot to talk about, bearing in mind that you hadn't said a word to them yet about how you had come to know and found out about Seon and Jimin or more importantly, how you had felt about that.

The four of you definitely needed a good night of talking but it was hard to happen now, and she was just left waiting for that and for her boyfriend to tell her the reason he was seeing her friend behind her back, but as she dropped her eyes on him, Ari knew that probably such a thing wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

"I think I will go home, for tonight. It's kind of late." She said catching the attention of Taehyung who had no contact with the environment until that moment.

"Oh! Why don't you stay over?" He asked as she was now up from her chair.

"Not tonight. I need my peace." She told him as she smiled slightly at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek before leaving the kitchen.

Taehyung remained still until he heard the front door close and then dropped his head on the table, regretting his cold behaviour towards her these days.

Stupid. If you don't focus on your life instead of thinking about Jungkook's bullshit you will lose her.

He scolded himself inwardly, at that moment remembering something else that he had forgotten these days, and that was the bet with Yoongi.

Could he possibly have been making moves for so long while I'm lost here?!!

He wondered, panic racking his body at the mere thought that his girlfriend might have become interested in another man.

And this thought made him realize that no one would like to be cheated on, after all.

This bet is stupid. I need to talk to Hyung and call this off.

He concluded, before grabbing his fork again and continuing his food, his mind again going to Jungkook and the pills he so regretted leaving in his hands.

Jimin and Seon had just entered their apartment after sending Jungkook home.

Words wouldn't be enough to express how uncomfortable the presence of both of them in the same room was for Seon, and she couldn't help but admit to herself that the fact that Jungkook wanted to leave earlier had made her feel somewhat relieved.

But her feelings were complicated because Jungkook was her husband and she had some feelings for him, at least she thought so and generally seeing him so stuck up behind another woman was not the most pleasant thing in the world but she didn't have much room to complain on that.
