Six days had passed since the event that turned your lives upside down. Six days had been since Jungkook hadn't set foot in the office, six days had been since Seon had not come out of her house nor replied to any calls, six days that Ari and Dae had kept going every day and knocking on her door hoping that at a point she would change her mind, and open up to them.
It had been six days, that Jimin had been closed up in his apartment in Tokyo, not having even taken your calls, as you had tried to call him twice a day but he had kept ignoring his cell phone. Six days in which you had grown to become more paranoid about touch and physical contact than you had been before, for reasons you couldn't really understand yourself.
Jungkook's violent character and your last meeting at the office had stained your subconsciousness, somehow making the progress you had made with him on the issue return to zero. Even a simple handshake from anyone made you uncomfortable now. A simple touch on the shoulder made you so agitated that you would find yourself running to the restroom to wash off the feeling. Your condition had never been so bad and panic had taken over you but you had no one to talk to, everyone having Seon, Jungkook or Jimin at the centre of their concerns.
Of course, you were thinking and worrying about them like everyone else and that's why this time you were at the entrance of Seon's apartment building, soon getting closer to Dae and Ari who were waiting for you.
"Sorry, I'm late. There was traffic." You told them as you greeted them with a smile, putting aside the fact that you had let three buses pass because they were too full and you didn't want to accidentally touch anyone.
"It's okay Y/N. We just came here too." Dae gave you a quick hug before you all headed inside for the elevator.
"Do you think she will open up today?" Ari wondered aloud, earning two looks of regret from her two friends before you spoke up and brought a smile to their worried faces. "If she doesn't open, I'll call a locksmith to get us in. And if he refused to unlock it because we aren't the owners, we'll put some extra money if needed and it's done. Everyone can get brided after all. "
"Well, obviously we can find someone that is easy to bribe but let's hope we don't get to those ways" Ari's words were heard as soon as the elevator door opened, having brought you to the floor you wanted to be on.
The three of you fell silent as you approached Seon's door, Dae gathering up the courage to ring the bell. Once... Twice... Thrice. No reply.
"Seon open up!" You yelled now exasperated by the wait which continued for a few minutes, making you knock on your door repeatedly with your hand, persistently and loudly until finally, the sound of the lock being unlocked was heard.
"Oh, God!" Ari exclaimed as soon as she came face to face with Seon's figure. Like bird's nest was her hair, two crimson puffy eyes, looking sleep deprived, and a white baggy short-sleeved top that wasn't too white in most places.
"Did you just come out of a cave Neanderthal?" You commented as Seon stepped aside for you to enter and you all did so.
"Ugh. When was the last time you took a bath? You Stink." Dae spoke as she walked past, both comments earning no reaction from Seon, who simply closed the door as soon as the last one of them had gotten inside.
"Well, it's not just her that stinks. The whole house stinks." Ari added as the girls stepped into the living room, finding the place a total mess. Tissues and water bottles thrown here and there, papers crumpled and torn, scraps thrown on the couch and her laptop on the coffee table.
"Did you come all the way here to judge me?" Seon addressed them with a low voice, that sounded awful as if she were an old woman who had been speaking for a hundred years.
"How much did you cry that you ended up like this? For God's sake Seon. Just what have you been doing with yourself?!" You immediately scolded her, still shocked by how bad her health condition was looking.
"I do not want to talk about it." It was all Seon replied with, before she ignored you and headed to her laptop again where she had been devoting the past three days of her life to writing a new book. Her need to vent and express her feelings somewhere had erupted in this way, she herself not having closed an eye for a minute after that moment, which had filled her with overexertion, and given her insomnia and those two crimson bloodshot eyes.
"I'm sorry love but we have to talk even if you don't want to, it will be good for you trust me." Dae approached her sweetly and gently earning only a displeased look from Seon, who had no intention of opening the door for them today either but with your patient knocking piercing her ears, she couldn't take it anymore and had ended up opening her door.
"We don't need to talk. I know my faults. It's all my fault and I deserve to be like this. There's no mystery to solve. I'm just an awful person and I didn't realize it, till now it seems." Her words were monotonous but full of self-loathing, which made her friends look at her with sad eyes, not knowing what to do to help her.
"You're not awful. You are Just slow. It was bad timing, that's all. No need to dramatize it." Ari made an effort as she walked over to her and took a place on the floor next to her.
"She is stupid, not slow. She should have spoken up sooner." You snapped somewhat rudely earning two annoyed looks from Ari and Dae.
"Don't look at me like that. Our lack of communication was what has gotten us to this point. Of course that goes for everyone though. Unfortunately or fortunately it's not just one person's fault, none of us are angels." You added as you made some room to sit on the couch.
"Maybe, but Jungkook didn't do anything. It wasn't his fault but I hurt him. He was always good to me, the perfect husband. Good, loving, honest and me?.. What did I go and do? I go fall in love with his brother. " Seon's face could easily be seen showing self-hatred and this made you angry and sad. Because you knew well what it's like to regret something and hate yourself for not doing what you should have done. You knew the feeling well and it irritated you, finding it unfair for someone to go through such pain.
"Don't be so absolute about him. He's not as angelic as you think he is." Your words left your lips spontaneously and the three heads now turned towards you, Dae proceeding to ask you why you said such a thing.
You fell silent for a moment, thinking if you should speak up and tell what you knew but as you looked into Seon's eyes, your confusion disappeared, thinking that it wasn't fair to let her be tortured, thinking that she was the only evil and wrong in this case.
You had promised not to talk but these secrets had brought this mess that you were living in right now so you made your decision and confided in your friends with the information you had about Jungkook's not so perfect behaviour as well as the pills you suspected that he has used on Seon.
You shared all the Information that you knew, leaving the girls in shock. Information that disturbed Seon's feelings, as well as disturbed the events of the present and the future which were predicted to become even more chaotic, for as soon as Jungkook was to find out who it was that had left this information reach the ears of his beloved Seon, trouble was certain.
