Chapter 110

Ari stormed into the party with clear anger all over her face and scanned the place in search of the person she was ready to go off at. It didn't take long for her to finally spot the table at the corner that her group of friends seemed to be occupying but her gaze halted on Taehyung right before she started speedily pacing in that direction.

"Kim Taehyung!" She shouted his name once close enough, gaining the attention of everyone that was there and making Taehyung instantly stand up, while she walked over to him and without a split hesitation, slapped him across the face, making the observers flinch in place.

"That must have hurt." You whispered under your breath as you were looking anywhere else but at Taehyung's face at that moment, like most on that table were doing.

"Have you lost your mind?! Why did you hit me?" Taehyung managed to bring his head back in a straight position and face her angered expression that only grew worse once he uttered those questions of his.

"Yes! I have definitely lost my mind. How could I explain otherwise the fact that I hang on to you like an idiot? Even after the way you behaved, I still couldn't let you go, I wanted to give you a second chance and provoke you in order for you to come and tell me that you want me, that you can't let me go. I was stupid for thinking you even cared. You are a worthless jerk!" Ari yelled right at his face with all her might, for she had gotten furious after Dae had called her and had told her that he apparently had decided to get into a relationship with Y/N.

She was so mad and how could she not? The fact that he really chose to let her go even though he knew that she was supposedly getting engaged and even after Dae had told him where to find her. She had been hoping that he would come for her, she had done all this in hopes that he will prove his love for her and maybe then she could overlook once and for all the whole bet thing. But instead of trying to prove his love in any way, he had gone and found himself another girlfriend. 

It hurt her heart it hurt her pride, it made her feel so angry at her own self for ever hoping for him, for ever loving him, for ever trusting that he had loved her even once. It made her so frustrated that she couldn't hold herself from coming and leashing her emotions out on his face.

"I may be worthless but I am not petty! Going around trying to pretend as if you moved on and you are getting engaged just so you could hurt me!" Taehyung replied making Jimin mumble under his breath his thoughts on the words he just spat out of his mouth.

"You doing all this tonight just to get even with her is the definition of pettiness though."

" Who is pretending? I might have hesitated to accept Hoseok's proposal but after tonight, heck you will see! I will definitely marry him! You hear me! We are done!" Ari spat words that she didn't fully mean but at that angered moment, she was serious enough about her words to even beg Hoseok to marry her for real if needed. If that would piss off Taehyung in any way, she was willing to go through with anything at that moment.

She turned around and took her to leave immediately after, making Taehyung gasp for an instant, before he rushed after her and managed to get hold of her arm by the entrance.

"Let go of me!" She shouted at him as she tried to free herself but their push and pull only made Taehyung pull her into a tight embrace in order to prevent her from leaving.

"I said let go of me!" Ari still resisted despite the fact that this time around her voice broke, showcasing her inner turmoil.

"I won't! Stop asking me that! I can't let you go!" Taehyung raised his voice as he was struggling to keep her still and he was growing desperate for her to listen to him.
