Jungkook arrived home still a little dizzy, even though he had drunk three coffees and freshened up, now wearing clothes that didn't smell of alcohol.
"Baby I am back ~" he chirmed as he closed the door behind him, his own voice annoying him for he had a terrible headache ringing in his head.
Seon soon jumped from a corner and fell into his arms, his lips pecking hers tenderly, showing the amount he had missed her throughout his day.
A smile crept on his lips inevitably as only happiness overflowed his heart when he had her in his arms.
"How did your day go today?" She questioned him as her hands were still wrapped around his neck and he just tossed his briefcase aside, wrapping his arms around her waist and bringing her body closer to him.
"Mr Lee wanted his monthly meet-up again. I'm dead tired but your kisses can definitely make me not think about fatigue." His smile grew wider before he proceeded to lean over her neck and trail some small wet kisses down her skin.
"Aren't you tired, don't you want to eat anything?" Seon tried to change the subject as she lightly pushed him off, a smile on her face that was hiding her uncomfortable state even though he is not someone who she should be uncomfortable with for he was her husband.
"Go change and come back. I have a set the table." She gave him a quick kiss just to motivate him to do as she said and he smiled at her before he went off to do exactly that.
Seon observed him closely until he left her field of vision and then she released the breath she was holding.
Calm down Seon, Y/N didn't mean what she said last night. She is not capable of doing it anyway. To not mention that Jungkook loves me more than anything. I have nothing to fear.
She reassured herself as she had only been thinking of your words all day and she couldn't lie to herself that part of her was panicking.
The fact that she didn't know what could happen next scared her. You were quite unexpected after all and it was not easy to predict your movements.
Seon remained in the company of her thoughts until Jungkook returned, with wet hair, grey sweatpants on and a short-sleeved T-shirt he wasn't wearing yet but he had simply left it hanging around his neck.
"What good dish do we have?" He questioned as he entered the kitchen and pulled a chair for him to sit down, staring at the food before him with excitement. After all the alcohol he had drunk he felt like he was starving.
Seon's eyes, however, had travelled elsewhere, as the red marks on the left side of his neck came to her notice instantly and froze her in place.
"What are those?" She couldn't help but utter, her voice steady, as she didn't want to show any kind of concern, even though her worry had skyrocketed at that very moment.
"What? Ah! These? I don't know what to tell you, they most like are mosquito bites." He answered with a gaze full of ignorance, for he really didn't remember anything, so he had assumed that while drunk some mosquitoes had taken advantage of him and had a fist on his skin. He pulled the shirt from around his neck and decided to wear it properly, thinking of putting some ointment later on those red marks that strangely enough weren't itching him but they sure were still bright red.
Seon forced herself to just smiled at him, having nothing to say, as her thoughts were not clear.
Jungkook had never lied to her and had no reason to do so now either. She was just simply overthinking things now, because of what had with you. Or so she convinced herself to feel more reassured that you weren't truly a threat to her.
